I never imagined that the United states government could tell it's citizens "yeah go travel but whoa if you go visit this country or that country we might not let you back in!"

But I guess it makes sense if you really don't like a country or agree with their leadership, trying to control your citizens etc
We've had a ban on traveling to Cuba for 50 years. Getting through the Iron Curtain was difficult because both the USA and the USSR didn't want anyone to. This stuff isn't new.

This is all viral marketing for the Rodman/Un buddy cop movie coming to theaters this Fall. So bizarre is this friendship that it could only be something forged in the fires of 21st century geopolitics.

Just imagine the closed door conversations. You want reality TV? This is what I'd pay money to see.

Next: Vladimir Putin and RuPaul strike up a friendship.

Still better than Dennis Rodman and Dane Cook in a spy thriller.

To those who may have missed that particular gem, I'm not making it up.

What's ironic is that America has become more communistic than the USSR now.

Socialist, not Communist.

There is a difference there.

Both are really huge with the far left. But yeah socialist, as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics has become the United Socialist States of America.

My bad.

There is a difference between socialism and communism and it's still not true.

You'd think someone who claims to be from France (I know you live in Texas) would actually know what modern socialism looks like. The US is about as socialistic as China is capitalistic: it looks a little like the real thing, but it's all veneer and no wood.

France, lol. You may want to check that again. I can safely say I've never been to France, ever.

You can check my IP lol, I wish I was in Texas, any place other than NJ would be better quite frankly.

to be fair, some dude said he was full of ***on that point, & was actually in pennslyvania. (I don't know how much truth there was to that proclamation either)

he could be an okie from muskogee for all we know.

Was referring to Kingnobody. Though I screwed up by looking too quickly as his flag is Czechoslovakia. For some reason. Which is still probably closer to socialism than the US.

That would sorta make sense. A lot of strange people live there.

A lot of strange people live everywhere. I won't say PA lacks for them and I wouldn't be shocked if Kingnobody is actually from there, but I also wouldn't be shocked if he was from San Francisco, CA, or Portland, OR, or some hippie commune in the Black Forest of Germany.

No, it really wouldn't. Kids tend to skew pretty hard against their parents when their parents exist at some kind of extreme. The best way to raise a career Army sergeant is to spend 23 hours a day of his childhood getting high, watching Scooby Doo, forgetting to pay the mortgage, and babbling about spiritual enlightenment mattering more than a roof over one's head.

Since when did I claim to be from France? Even though the flag is from Czechoslovakia...

But if you even looked at international politics lately, heck, even the listing of current countries, you would see that the country does not exist....

Think of it this way, it's my way of saying I'm a displaced citizen.

Edit: My point still stands, USA is more socialist today than USSR has ever been in it's entire existence.

Going to need a bit of clarification of how today's USA is more socialist than the USSR around 20-40 years ago. If you're making a bold claim like that, at last give some examples.
