Sales history not updating past Apr. 7th?
No items I've checked seem to have any sales history past April 7th. Airlixir +2 and Malboro Fiber are two examples of this. Anyone else seeing this, or is this on my end?

I'm also seeing this.

Slightly OT but I have a question. Leaving this last patch aside, after every patch the new items appear on FFXIAH but their history does not show at all. You can see how many are for sale, but not how much they've been sold for. It takes a weekish or a bit more for them to appear on FFXIAH. Is this done ON PURPOSE? If so why? Or is it just a side-effect of how things are programmed? Asura.Sechs said: » Guess the issue was bigger than expected. Slightly OT but I have a question. As for this particular issue: no idea on the size of it, but as Scragg is the sole site support anymore, and he just added a newborn to the family, he's been busy. But I don't know if that's the case. The new items DO APPEAR on the website (once they update the DB, which is usually pretty fast). You can search for them, see them, comment them etc. You can ALSO see how many are for sale, which means some kind of data does indeed get pulled. The only thing they don't pull is the most important, the history of sales. I've really always wondered if it was an unwanted side-consequence or something done on purpose, but it's been like that for at least 1+ year. I'm leaning to say even more, maybe even since the beginning. Yeah I've noticed the same thing, Sechs. I try to look up some new item (that has been added to the database) to find out the current price, and nothing is listed. Get to the AH in game and realize plenty's been sold already. That's happened numerous times. Also unsure of how long it's been going on.
It's taken weeks to update ever since I can remember.
Every update, there are items that get sold, and don't show up here for 2-3 weeks sometimes. Never knew what the issue was, and I don't really mind, as I know if I were the one responsible this site wouldn't even exist, so I just let it slide. I mean it's not hard to just check the price yourself, who cares what it goes for on other servers. And if you can't check it yourself, and you actually care what it costs, well, you can't afford it frankly. I wasn't exactely demanding a solution for that issue, even because atm they have bigger things to be thinking of (like making FFXIAH work again :P).
I was just being curious and wanting to know if that behaviour was meant to be (and if so, why?) or if it was just a side-effects of how their thingies/tracker work. I've always been leaning to think about the first hypothesys because tracker do seem to be working (they do track number of items for sale, after all, it's just the price history that doesn't appear) Offline

Hmm taking time off for a new baby seems a bit selfish to me.
You can always make another baby but there is only one FFXIAH.com ! Someone needs to sort out their priorities. Skyfawn said: » Hmm taking time off for a new baby seems a bit selfish to me. Just because something is added to an online database doesn't mean that the bot program that continually scans the AH for all the servers has been updated. Any time a new item is added, the AH section it is added changes and the item prices won't appear online until the bot program can be updated as well.
Yes, they use bots to do this. So all you people that hate all 3rd party programs and those who support them, but but also love using FFXIAH.com, you support the use of them by using this site. Everyone should know that this and wiki are both considered 3rd party tools.

10 days now... is it a major issue, or a lack of time to fix this?
It's high priority and we are closer to a fix. It's a major issue in that it's totally not working and that I have to tap Cliff to fix it. The last time he looked at the code, Bush was in the white house. I will keep you informed.

But anyway, thanks for taking time out of your, now even busier life, to keep us addicts with our wonderful resources. Thanks for fixing it! :)
