Prerequisite: Complete "A Token of Troth" Wings of the Goddess mission.
Note:
- You can be any job level 75 or higher to get the quest active and complete it.
- You DO NOT need to be Summoner to do this quest.
Step 1 - Zone into Walk of Echoes for a cutscene.
Step 2 - Locate the Breath of Dawn key items.
First Key item for Cait Sith Avatar quest
East Ronfaure (S) (H-7) - Breath of Dawn

=========================
Second key item
Jugner Forest (S) (I-6)
=========================
Third Cait Sith Key Item
Beaucedine Glacier (S) (H-9)
- At the bottom of the ramp that leads to the Outpost/C.A. NPCs
Step 3 - Face Cait Sith herself.
Last stop is Grauberg (S) at (F-5), the Verdical Conflux near the Faeries.
Enter Walk of Echoes there and go north to the Ornate Door.
Examine it for a few cutscenes then examine it again for a fight against the Cat herself.
NOTE: You do lose the three key items, I assume you have to collect them again to redo the fight.
She says you'll only have to visit one of the spots again for redoing it.
Have fun! (Also, I like the last option she gives you at the end.)

Picked the Lilisette option, and it does not use up your choice like with trying to become Odin's Knight. Going to try again tomorrow to see if it's there again an any dialogue choices.

Easily soloable at lv99, I would say Level ? Holy has the potential to kill, but it misses so often it's worth taking the risk.

Yeah, very easy fight Easily soloable at lv99, I would say Level ? Holy has the potential to kill, but it misses so often it's worth taking the risk. Yup, the only thing that did the most damage during the fight was Level ?? Holy.
We were RDM (me), WHM (Anna), and SMN (Kaiichi) at level 99. Very easy. Any job at 99 can do it solo.

Does the fight give reward options like previous avatar fights or is it just for summon only?

There are repeatable rewards like with the other battles but they seemed pretty lame.

I dunno about anyone else who's tried out Level ? Holy, but it's pretty darn crappy so far, from my uses. It fails like 60%-70% of the time I use it, doing no dmg at all. Lowest dmg I've gotten from is was 3300 rolling a 1, and 13k rolling a 5. But on some mobs, 5 has no effect at all. It's got some weird mechanics or it's just totally random. 6 always seems to fail when I get it, same for 3.

If they were challenging then it would be content that locks people out, we can't have that!

but I shouldn't have been able to have beaten it solo in a minute :/ Even the other primes were a lil harder than that
though that was also at 75

I would assume that you can do the fight as any job, but need to do it as SMN in order to get the option to obtain Cait Sith as an Avatar - but I could be wrong.
With the other Avatar fights, you can do them as any job, but you need to be on SMN at the reward selection stage before it'll give you the option to form a pact with the Avatar. Since Cait Sith gives the reward selection immediately after the battle, maybe this one is a little different.

Oh, and for the record, the fight was so easy that Cait Sith didn't even get to use a BP. He tried to use Level ? Holy at the end, but Ifrit's second Flaming Crush landed just a hair earlier.

You don't need to be on smn to get the pact option nor did you have to be for the old avatars.

My thoughts on lvl ? holy in spoiler.
I would think the mechanics for it will be the same for every other final fantasy "level ? Spell" in that it will only affect the mob if its level is a multiple of that number.
(Remember lvl 5 death from ff9)
I would also assume the damage scales with the number rolled as it becomes increasingly more difficult to match up.
eg. rolling a 1 will always land since all levels divisible by 1.
rolling a 5 on a lvl 115 mob will do high damage and would do 0 to something not divisible by 5.
I think this will make it fairly useless as I see a lot of mobs check as 113 or 111 meaning only rolling a 1 will deal damage.
Although rolling a 5 on the new 125 content should produce good results.
I'm sure it will be fully tested in the near future so I will stop using logical thinking as SE never really adhered to it anyway.

Good job on posting locations, very easy to find and follow.

Rolled a 5 on the Mandies in ceizk level ? holy hit 2 of them for 13594 damage each.
Rolled 2 did 6365 damage.
Rolled 4 did 11205 damage.
Rolled 1 did 3894 damage.
Rolled 6 multiple times on different mandies all had no effect.
Rolled 4 on a group of 4 mandies did 11487 to all of them.
Switch to orobons 3 had no effect on 2 of them and did 7730 to the third. Rolled 1 it did 3465 to them all, 4, 5 and 6 had no effect.
Most are on different mobs.
