Well, I tried to post this in the random questions thread but apparently it got buried in there ( >.>;; ) so I'll go ahead and ask more out in the open:

Okay, apologies if this has been brought up here or in another topic (search did not yield the answers I was looking for sadly). What I was wondering is one of two things. Either one I could find the answer to the other.

In the instance of high-tier endgame content (Delve mega bosses, Arch Angels (D and VD) and the like;

A) What is the commonly accepted level/evasion that is used for calculating accuracy (Particularly low support / Low man instances)

and/or

B) What is commonly the target value for accuracy (Melee and Ranged) for the same noted situations.

I know there is a lot of variables that go into play on these, but looking at a good baseline to work my calculations off of. Some jobs I have I know need more ACC, but some it almost feels like overkill (IE RNG and maybe DRG).

Any information on this would help greatly. Thank you in advance.

No such thing. Just get as much acc as you can and swap them in depending on what mob you're fighting/what buffs you have.

accuracy caps at 95% for melee (honestly not sure about ranged), and unless you know the exact value of your buffs and the exact stats of the target, the only way to know for sure is to parse it and adjust accordingly.

A good place to start would be Motenten spreadsheets, for Delve at least.

This can give you a decent idea about what you need for Tojil, which can be somewhat extrapolated to cover the Shark, and for the most part Bee. Allows you to toggle different BRD/COR buffs. Sometimes GEO depending on what job you're spreadsheeting, Soul Voice, your jobs particular JA, and defense down values(if your group is using Dia, or Dia+Light shots, for instance). The Data tab will have a hit rate value based on whatever gear/buffs you have selected.

Anyways, to answer your question more simply from a Delve standpoint, using a spreadsheet model you need 910 accuracy(between natural, skill, DEX, gear, buffs, etc) to JUST cap out on Tojil(who is assumed to have an Evasion of 870).

SE added a new feature, /checkparam <me>. It allows you to check your attack/accuracy parameters for main and sub hands. Primarily, I use this for adjusting my accuracy in game (before food) for specific fights and setups. For instance, during high acc scenarios, or while receiving Torpor from a GEO, im likely to use more Dual Wield and Attack on BLU as opposed to ACC on delve bosses/etc, mainly because I can afford to. I will generally always try to stay above 920 acc or so for Delve bosses, and maybe 940 or so for bee (not including madrigal and food, which is usually pizza slices).

For anything Normal or lower, you could probably get by with about 850 accuracy or so. Again, you should be familiar with your party setup and have gear specifically for every occasion (high acc, marches, att rolls, etc).

And since capping Haste (on melee jobs) is basically a joke, you should have no problem maintaining 25+% while also regulating accuracy per battlefield.

Alright, that was the kind of data I was looking for. Like I noted in my op, I've mainly been running with a few friends sense I got back and that /checkparam, where the blazes was that YEARS ago!? Has made working out gear sets a bit easier. As far as high buff situations, with only about 4 of us, that makes it kind of hard and still maintain a level of combat effectiveness. It does however give me more to think about in instances when I'm not with my group. I'll have to do some more research into the common buffs (Pretty familiar with BRD and COR, not so much for GEO.)

Once again, thank you for the information and if anyone has anything else they would like to voice, by all means!
