I was messing around a little to try to make FFXI look a little better through the FFXI system settings, and somehow my macro bar is smaller and looks squished. Any ideas on how to get it back to normal?

You messed with the UI and Background res a little too much.

Check and see if you changed the macro palette size in the settings. If it is set to compact it makes them smaller.
Misc. 2 > Macro Palette Size > Full.
