What would you do on the last day the servers were up?
Things I would do
- kill big bomb one last time (I farmed it like crazy when it was worth 3m+ a bomblet)
- be on THF in old school 75 armor (homam/turban)
- be in windy (home nation)
- do an old salvage zone
-kill morion worm
- use my cruor on brews (why not?)
Anyone else think of this? What would yiu do?

if the servers shutdown for good what would you do
Would call my family for a dinner, to enjoy my emancipation of this wicked game and wicked playbase, and to make up all those month ive spend in a game, neglecting them, and neglecting my own real life.

Quickly get a hold of a private server setup and make a locally playable version for me an my friends... Because I want to keep my addiction alive!

I remember years ago some people working on Project XI. I don't know what ever happened to that, but it was private FFXI servers. I think legal issues shut them down.

months? when I last played.... I was at over 2 years of RL time... (albeit I had time afk from camping HNMs and just not being at the computer, but still 2+ years...)

They did that with EQ or EQ2 or something? I thought it was an interesting idea, but I doubt it would ever happen with xi.
