Around 1.5k 11pm JPT weekdays. I haven't seen population decrease since Nov~Dec. It's been pretty stable from Nov~Feb, unlike July~Oct 2013 population decrease by 100~200 every month.
Well, Phoenix is about to drop one more at this rate... as of the announcement for emergency maint on skirmish a while ago I can't stay connected to FFXI for more than about 5 minutes at a time... To say that this is extremely frustrating would be an understatement. I've tried resetting my IP etc etc. Every time I get dropped completely and it acts like the servers are dead, and I have to wait ~10 minutes to reconnect for maybe another 5...

file check found 0 problems, so either there's some kind of networking issue or something... or I just don't *** know... nothing else is affected, just FFXI... so yea... might be cancelling my subscription if this doesn't subside soon... no point paying for it if I can't play the *** game...

Two things,
One, posting the time is unnecessary. Its like saying the UPS guy bringing a package to you, then opening to take out your item and repackage it in another back before actually giving your item to you.
