Cant Find My Character!

So I get on today, and my two characters i have had on Hyperion since original launch are nowhere to be found. Neither does my legacy status appear which i had all during beta and before. I missed p4 beta due to net being down, and i'm wondering if anyone else has seen this issue and might know how to fix it. Under my character settings for preloaded creation, both the names of the old characters appear but i cant seem to get them, and it says 0/8. Help?

Servers were down for maintenance for a couple hours, if you tried to log in at that time, your characters would not have shown up. All of my legacy characters were there when I logged in earlier this morning, and I didn't participate in any beta tests.

Yeah i got it sorted out dunno what the deal with it not appearing at first was, but all's well that ends well =D

I still have this problem. I can't find my character on Balmung anywhere. Is it because I'm using FFXIV Service 2 or whatever over Service 1?

I had 1.0 characters on Balmung and Hyperion, but my service account says there are no characters to be found. From what I see, this is happening to various people. I don't see a news item about it on Lodestone, but anybody else still having the issue?

ffxiv service 2 is a different service. its like a second account. use service 1 and you should see your characters. i canceled my service 2 because it was useless.

I know you were replying to him, but I also have two service accounts. Service 1 is the old Beta Test Windows (R) service that was cancelled years ago. Service 2 was what I was using to play the game back when it was FTP (but not past that). The characters are tied to Service 2, and that is the one with all my 1.0 bonuses. However, it says there are no available characters :(
