Where Is Best Place To Get Quest/gear Info?

Both wiki and Zam suck. Was curious where the best place is to get info on where to get gear and stuff. Unless there isn't one until full release of the game.

Also because I don't know how to get darklight gear atm and i really wants it.

I'm not really a good source for this as my 14 playing has been rather limited but these are the sites I've saved from my 1.0 playing.

I honestly don't know how useful any are now, or if they will be updated for 2.0 but we'll see.

Darklite gear came from one of the dungeons near Ishgard in 1.0 ... blanking on the name right now... As far as best place... I used wiki, also in 1.0... since we were in the beta phase I doubt they were updated... I would check back next week though and see if any have been.

This site is all updated with phase 4 maps and gear. Looks like it was mined. It's all pretty awesome!

All Darklight gear(And the new darklight gear) can be purchased from the npc's near rowena at camp revenant's toll(Mor dhona).

You buy them with Allagan tomes of myth/philosophy, which are gained from "selling" 1.0 gear that has materia in it to one of the calamity salvagers. Might be awhile before some of the sites have that updated I guess.

If you didn't have a ton of materia gear from 1.0, I wouldn't even worry about it. I turned in damn near everything I had and only got 370, which isn't enough to buy a thing.
Earrings/Neck/Wrist were 375, Shoes were 800~, Legs were 900~, Bodies were 1.2k, head was 900 something I think.

They sell Odin/Behemoth items to but no one can buy those yet of course. Also, Darklight isn't as amazing of an improvement as it was in 1.0. It's still really strong gear, but not a large change from the revised AF even. Looks cool as hell still though.

ok i thought i heard that from someone. I assume you can still get it through dungeons though right? i should check my 1.0 gear. might have some with materia. Can i add materia to it and then sell it to them? >.>

Also sad that they changed the gear so each class/job has their own piece. just takes up that much more inventory. Guess I should wait until there is a guide on which end game gear is best for each job.
