That just proves that with the proper directing, supporting cast and script, anyone can act decently in a decent movie. I didn't think the movie was half bad myself, but I don't think he is a "good actor" just he acted good in that one movie.

Yeah, you don't necessarily have to be a great actor, but rather have to be suitable for the given scenario or scene in a film. Probably why Keanau Reeves seems so natural in stoner films.

Bill and ted, A Scanner Darkly and one fo the last movies he was in where he was an alien I forget... only movies he "fit" into. His acting in general is *** horrid though he just read lines and fit into those 3 movies.
