Refresh with the ability to wear a hat as well ... Not a very good piece? Every BLM should have one. Only prevalent when BLM has a Refresh head piece as well. As-is, it's useless, unless you don't want to spend a whopping 30k on a Black Cloak.

Sorc coat gives 12 MP, therefore making it a better idle piece than black cloak. Combine it with something else, and it gets even better. That is provided that you're actually idling in a set that has less MP than your nuke set. (Read: you're in a realidle set)

Highest def you will probably get on a head is like 26 chances are if you doing it for stats you will have more like 0-20.
Small changes in def litterally make no difference in how hard you will get hit 99% of the time. That 1% of the time you aren't in danger to begin with. Since there is no PDT head the whole defensive stand point is null.
Sure you could make the argument about idling in more mp. But really your a blm you shouldn't be idling any where near full mp. You use mp when you got it rest when you don't. You generally don't wait for certain times to nuke as much as say a support job does to cure for example. Of course this assumes that for some weird reason your idle set has less mp than your nuking one. And as there are like only a very small handfull of good nuking peices for blm with any mp on them probably not happening with decent setups
Best case scernario if you go all out putting much more effort into the job then all but a very small portion of the gaming populace will do you will see no difference other than invent +1 once you store the relic. For that small amount of the people you will have (though doubt you will see it) a very very very small improvement very occasionally.
To put it another way this would be like saying you should have have terra staff over earth staff for and idle set because it has 1 more vit.

Dalmy is better idle, not only does it wipe the MP problem, it has MDB which is better to idle in(Not to mention it has quite good DEF 45), also resist para.

Also doubles as a latent pusher for ring, it is what I idle in for BLM, having relic body also, also, V cloak > Black cloak for the MP if it is really an issue, and honestly, Dasva is right you really are not idling near max MP anyway, though it does happen, so MP > no mp in equal situations. (Everything else is equal or wash)

Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
