Lol for some reason back when I was that low my pt decided it wanted to go in the tower and lvl of of gigas and goblins... so I got Grandslam on the first use and bomb toss.... um like 30 later. Pt kinda got mad cause I was purposefully not stunning them lol

Theres not really a need to unless you need the finishing moves. At most I'd keep up the -def or -evasion if you need it every like 30 sec I think.

Well omw to the FoV book from Jeuno and was killing all the bats and weapons, and got Jet Stream and Smite of Rage without even thinking "Hey these have spells I need".
My plan is to now just fight everything not thinking about what spells I can learn and just learn them, seems to work well.
And yeah, a PT moaned at me for not stunning Claw Cyclone:P *** em I need it, lol

Not really a good idea later on since some of the spells are kinda vital and well chances are your not just gunna happen to be fighting the mob(see all sea spells and frentic rip and cannonball and others that are also important)
Frentic rip was weird for me though. I joined several parties to learn it and no matter what I couldn't break the imps gd weapon. So I gave up on blu... well that and I had just bought alot of gear that costed alot of money that went way down in price right after cause of an update. Then I come back later dreading learning it and somehow I had it... also on the way to learn another spell I had to pwn several imps on the way since the other blus were like lvl 60 and I was 75 and somehow spamming blu spells near the staging point worked and it used it several times and they all got it just like that without even being in xp range lol

That's probably my problem. I stare down the timers, then alternate between -eva and -def when they're up. All that TP has to go somewhere. Even with Okote and Hauby, I still don't take a whole lot of damage.

Oh, I didn't mean that I wouldn't go out of my way to learn spells. I was just in Qufim to level and piss around for a bit before some assaults. Wasn't there with the mindset to learn spells and hadn't considered it, and there I was learning two first time in a row. Makes me think I should try that everytime since when I tried getting one (Grand Slam) it took forever.
Surprise nobody asked why we were exping on Tigers though xD. We love alternative camps, makes exping a bit more creative.
