Like, I don't use all my cooldowns sometimes, because what if I need them in the very near future instead for something more important? I CAN'T BLOW MY TWO HOUR NEEDLESSLY.
This *** with me immensely when I started really getting into 14... ***just didn't make sense to me.

Now I almost feel wrong if I don't immediately pop an offensive cool down as soon as it's up.

On to other topics... I have a strong urge to play an RTS. ._.

I've always held the opinion that the home buying/selling process is artificially inflated, drawn out, and made needlessly complicated, but I've never been vocal about it because I've never been involved in it.

This has historically been my position as well, until my wife and I made friends with a realtor couple. The stories they tell... the process is long as a protection to both sides, because of the immense amount of relative capital involved. For most people, buying/selling a home is a transaction involving an incredible percentage of their net worth, and something - anything - going wrong is financially disastrous.

So I'm mostly okay with the whole thing now, even as I cursed my way through signing 63 pages of documents yesterday.
It's a bit different over here. You go to the bank, and get a lånbevis (somewhat akin to a letter of credit), where you are authorized to be able to loan up to a certain amount. You then go through the house shopping process, and the bank appraises the house prior to purchase so it has an idea that it can recover a defined percentage if it has to liquidate due to default.

It was, all in all, significantly less hassle.

Looks more like a 4X game than an RTS. Also looks to be turn based? Kinda not what I'm looking for sadly. ._.

It was a less hassle with the second bank.

The first bank decided to tack on 10 requirements that Danes nor EU nationals had to meet because we were third country nationals. Including requiring us to put 40% down....when Danes/EU put down 5%.

Needless to say we went bank shopping and closed all our accounts with that bank.

I could be wrong -- Nik, pitch in maybe -- I'm pretty sure it used to be a lot more like that here before all the *** ~2000-2008.

Now everyone is making sure their *** is as covered as it possibly can be.

I can tell you that my bank's mortgage rep has had me do like 20 things where after he's said what I need to do, he apologizes and says, "sorry, we didn't used to have to do this" or "sorry, we used to be able to do this a lot quicker or easier."

Probably? I'm not entirely sure. I really only flick through the things I've already followed on my phone and sort of pick up things by association.

I've heard very good things about it. Though I've always found to be the bottled alcoholic colas/root beers to be too cloyingly sweet. I should try some.

Also, *** Idris Elba was in a commercial for Rainbox Six Siege and now I want to play it when I never wanted to before, but I'm all, "Maaaan, he's promoting it. It's got to be awesome, right?"

Not going to lie, it took them forever to get to the game part; I thought based on the commercial he was in some badass new movie. ._.;

The game is really simple and it seems its much more multiplayer focused. Its not overlycomplex but hrrrgghh the competitive experience is nuts. It goes from this slow pace sweep of making sure there's no booby traps or bad guys lurking around to intense gunfights immediately. and its quite funny/terrifying hearing teammates yell over the mic and hear explosions and stuff happening.
Was in a room guarding a hostage (was playing the bad guys) when all of a sudden all the back windows exploded and this one guy repelled upside down and mowed down 3 of us. Quite fun, definitely want to find 4 others to play with regularly

edit:

I wouldn't call it pay to win cuz each of the operatives you play are basically the same. Only differences is slight variations in gear and their special weapon. but you can literally play the basic recruit operative and still destroy everyone

This is AMERICA.

Our semis are just that much bigger than the rest of the world, because 'MURICA! It's tough to get around them no matter the circumstances. But that's okay, if you can't make it around you can sue the driver for parking the truck in your way.

Nuh-uh.

They drag those *** through my town all the time even though there are signs explicitly stating "LOCAL DELIVERY ONLY" because the *** idiots follow their GPS and can't pay attention to the signs around them.

And then when they start dancing through lanes without signals and start turning right out of the "left-only" lane with no indication they'll honk at you like it's your fault they're shitty at their *** job and all the neckbeard idiots will start defending them because don't you know they're hard-workin' murricans and 95% of the accidents involving semis aren't the truck drivers' fault!

As if you can't find page after page after page of truck driver and former truck driver testimonials that those guys are so overworked and hopped up on drugs to keep them awake that they're unfit to drive a god damn Power Wheels, let alone a six axle vehicle.

Sorry, this happened to me literally yesterday and I'm still sore about it. One of the things I really hate about my current town is that it was built to have one horse n' buggy lane and one trolley lane and they've kept it that way through the 21st century because how the hell do you widen a street without bulldozing the entire business district?
