Whew, just had a mini heart attack. Looked through my sent emails to make sure I sent out the ISF for an upcoming shipment and didn't see it in my emails. HUGE penalty for not doing it within a day of the shipment being sent.

Turns out I sent it from another email address. Thank goodness.

I basically forced the servers at a very nice restaurant to sing to my dad last year. The servers were happy to, it was the new manager that forbid it.

nikka coffey grain whiskey

I learned two things this weekend. 1.) I love japanese whiskey.

holy ***is this stuff a pleasure to drink. I started sniffing it and it's like[oooooh... why hello there fruity sweet and mysterious... [and then you taste it, so smooth like grandma's homemade vanilla caramel but you are still getting these citrus fruit notes and it's getting along great with my cigar and then I realize I wasn't walking anymore I was just standing on the sidewalk marveling at my reeling senses. sipping and smoking and enjoying as it eased into kind of a warm blanket buzz. and I was all these jps are fuxing serious about whiskey I wasn't ready for it. there is some serious meticulous attention to detail in that bottle along with science and who knows what else....but it's awesome.

step on your mother's back to reach a bottle and then just run home with it.

I forget what the second thing was.... and quite frankly who gives a ***...there was whiskey and cigars and cool fall weather...

OK, that article... Nitrous oxides? Ugh. NOx is not nitrous oxide and it's not HC.

Still, a grand for just owning a car that needs a minor recall isn't a bad deal.

What's wrong with that? It is no 'with taking the money you loose your right to sue us' thing.

I cannot remember other scandals in the automobile industry being managed better (in the sense of tackling the problem, not media image).

Yeah, they have been pretty up front about the issue and its cause and been cooperative in the investigation. If only that made a difference in the way it's handled by the justice department. VW cheats some emissions tests that are already kinda ridiculous according what chemists say about diesel emissions then fesses up and fixed it, GM tried to hide a fault that literally killed people and I didn't hear half as much crap.

Edit: this seems like more of a P&R conversation.

I changed offices in the building this week and I'm back with a guy who, while pretty cool, has like...situational Tourette's and is prone to randomly exclaiming "what the sweet *** is this?" and the like at times.

I mean, we all do that at some point, but he lets everyone around him know in no uncertain terms that something is amiss.

It's kinda great, actually.

I mean, Hell is a fictional construct dreamt up as a means of societal control anyhow, but even if it weren't...if the bar for hell were set that low...I mean, c'mon. Even my sainted grandmother laughed at a few inappropriate things in her time, and if anyone deserves into a dreamy afterlife, it's got to be her.

Too old, millennial moms only.

Cruising for tail while their kids play skeeball at Chuck E. Cheese may not be the least effective way to pick up women, but it's certainly fairly high on the unsettling skeeze factor.

"Girl, you're looking fine in those unwashed yoga pants and that spitup-stained sweatshirt."

I mean, c'mon. I'm sure a woman appreciates being told she's beautiful even just when she's rolled out of bed, but it's not the classiest way to meet the ladies.

It is good to let women know you love kids though.
