Hasn't been so bad this week since Monday. Monday was colder than a witch's ***.
All I know is I woke up last Wednesday here:
(This is a promo shot for the yacht club's restaurant, but I literally sat at that exact table and ate and drank delicious things; those are conch fritters, I highly reccomend them.)
And when Wednesday ended, this was where I found myself:
I'm normally not one to *** about winter weather.
But when you go from (almost literal) paradise back to spending 20 minute shoveling and cleaning your car to go anywhere in the span of a few hours...it's a bit gut-wrenching.

There were people across the marina constantly going out fishing, coming back and cleaning their catches...so much work on vacation. I don't get it.
we were on a cruise and my buddy signed himself up for a fishing excursion... he asked my if I wanted to come with and I said "are you out of your *** mind!? we're already on a *** boat and you are going to pay more to go on a smaller one? and work? what the hell is a matter with you?"
and his wife was all shaking her head "I tried to tell him it was stupid but...."
came back all sea sick and wave whipped and of course he didn't catch anything... you can't just hop in a boat in the afternoon and go hook a marlin...you dumb ***...
