I've been kicking around the idea of replacing my very missed PPK 9mm with the new PPQ, but since it's not available in .45 ACP, I've held off. I guess my S&K 1911 .45 will have to suffice for now.

This is what I currently have. My opinion is that, for what it is, the 1911 is the best handgun but it is very heavy and a smaller .32 ACP or 9mm would be better for an auto concealed carry. I leave out the .380 ACP because...it's basically a cut-down 9mm cartridge with less power.

Don't get me wrong, I love the feel of the 1911 frame, but mine is basically a target gun, and I would prefer to stay with a .45 ACP. I like the stopping power, but have a mossi 500 for home defense.
