I finally got that ***running the other day, & had enough free time over the holidays to start one up, holy ***it's like that cid meier is living up in my mf'ing brain. they changed the battle system to devistate the old "stack of death" method of warfare by limiting 1 unit per tile, omg it's pure sex. & then they changed the dimplomacy shizzah up, to add all things I've wanted over the years. me *** gusta.
Yeah... np either, I'm in no real rush atm lol... They changed that and they redid city's defenses... you don't really even have to have anyone in there though it does help the have someone garrison'd in the city... Plus you have a two tile attack range from the city by default... I like to put artillery in the cities and double pound any incoming soldiers softening their attack... I'm also hardcore into buidling a large navy... bring that up too you know longer have to build transports... only warships to make sure they don't get hammered on their way over to the other continent...
on my first playthrough, so still learning, but yeah. I did like the amphibious elements they added that I've seen so far.
