I had reoccurring nightmares starring him throughout my childhood. I still remember the dream to a T!
Neon-colored, giant bees flew me down the stairs by the posts on my bed, the girl who was Arthur's antagonist in the 'Arthur' books would scurry back and forth trying to snatch me from my bed as I gilded past the dining room. When I came to the kitchen, ET was under the table with his heart glowing and pointing at me. Then, it was off to the laundry room where the monster lived that I never saw. I would wake up just before he got me.
Last time I had that dream was in HS. I laughed about it then, but I was still terrified in the dream.

Let's see...Let's see...There was one dream from childhood where I slept walked into my closet, but in the dream I was snatched up by old Bert and the Count from 'Sesame Street'.
Velociraptors from 'Jurassic Park' ruined me. I still have stress dreams with them. Like me stuck in traffic on Mo-Pac, and nobody else sees them, so I jump out of the car and start screaming at people. Yeah...Those are fun.

I once had a dream that the apocalypse was happening (when I was a kid.)
I don't remember much of it but I do remember there being an earthquake, me going to the basement of my house to see a huge crack in the floor and then demons, monsters and the such would fly out.

I have a lot of zombie apocalypse dreams.
Usually the group i'm with start dying off in awful ways until i'm horribly eaten or something... but its not like oh, youve been caught, game over, its like OHMYGOD IM BEING EATEN THIS HURTS
Or i just have god awful vivid dreams of being murdered in various ways :<
This one i had was of me being tortured by having open heart surgery whilst being awake but kept conscious somehow. Woke up screaming it felt so real.

I used to have a dream when I was younger where I was on a ride at a carnival, kind of like the skyride (little baskets that hang and take you across a park to see everything), but instead it went into a fun house. The fun house was dark and everything was lit up with black lights. There were freaky clowns everywhere that jumped out at you. About half way thru the ride, our cart/bucket/whatever breaks off the rope into a ball pit. We struggled to get out, with these freaky black light clowns chasing us down. As soon as we find a way out, we are standing in line to get on again. There was no exit man! Now that freaked me the *** out!

Yeah they are, my dreams are awful, either i watch them get hurt/die or they hurt me in some way, or they have to watch me die and im still with watching their grief.
Nothing too dramatic, if i see grief it was always a best friend, family member or boyfriend. Not like "oh if i die everyones gonna be sadface."

Basements used to scare the crap out of me! Last time I visited my Opa in Germany I was still uneasy. His house was built in the late 1700's, and his German Shepard randomly barks at nothingness.

You actually see yourself being caught? I've never had that! I see what happens to other people but never me. I don't know what's worse.

/nod Yup. I see like my flesh being torn or me being like shot to ***by whoever was with me. And i feel every moment of it, sucks a lot lol.
I'd wake up with sore spots on my body, like if i was bit on my arm, my arm was achey that day. The mind is a weird thing, dude.

You can be caught in your dreams... It's dieing that won't happen, you'll wake up as it happens. Atleast in my experience thats how it goes, I'm no expert.
My dreams are so messed up that I don't even know where I'd begin to explain them. It's like someone took 20 games/books/movies and just mashed them all together and out pops my dreams.

My basement doesn't scare me much.
Sometimes, though, while doing laundry I'd get that feeling that someone's looking at me and I'd see something at the corner of my eye near the Water Heater/Boiler thing.
But then while watching Ghost Hunters on SciFi, they were saying something about some type of electricity phenomenon that makes you see things.
