wat There is some truth in here... The only FF game that has been able to appease me as of late is IX. Kind of bums me out that a PS2 game is doing something more for me than any of the new gen stuff.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII looks like a more boring version of Kingdom Hearts, a game that's been done since early 2002.
Shame, too, since it was really the only interesting-looking game SE had going for it in the near future. And that was based solely on the graphics.

XIV is actually pretty fun now. That's what I hear. Leveling is apparently bearable now. I will still wait til about ps3 launch to play but that's because I don't want to get to 50 and have a lack of content. But MMO's lacking in end game content around the time of release is actually rather common.

As for what you just said about FFXIV, the new management is exactly that, new they cannot change the game overnight. If you had done some research before spraffing more ***you would realise there is a very long and very thorough development plan on the Lodestone for the near future in response to player feedback.

VS and XIII-2 are the only SE games I've been excited for in a long time.
XIII-2 because they promise to add towns, sidequests and a world map.
Vs because it has Towns sidequests and a world map, as well as a fun looking battle system.
