Well you need to cut that pride ***out and accept that your not better than everyone else, I used to refuse to do shitty jobs because I felt the same way like I was above that in some way but in the end your just a *** if you don't grow out of that attitude at some point. I'm goin to work in a factory for much less pay coming from working in a managerial position so I can afford to move to the city and go to college/uni. A job is a job if you need the money you don't get to pick and choose, your obviously comfortable in your current situation despite what you tell us or you would be giving yourself a slap and getting on with it.
As for 'being a failure', like I said before, show some character and make a success from something, anything.
