Simple question...

Does anyone know if this is repeatable? I just did a yucmax that took a 10 hour all-nighter. (lauan log)

If I can just get all 5 wins again and pick my item that would be great. No one seems to know if it is repeatable though. It's ridiculous to spend 10 hours in a wildskeeper reive to walk away with nothing.

I doubt the quest is repeatable knowing SE.. But I figured I would ask since no one I've spoken to knows the answer.

Try obtaining Colkhab, Tchakka and Achuka wins again. If you don't get an option for one of their items again then it's not repeatable for Hurkan/Yumcax either.

Most believe it's a one-time choice though.

I would just love the ability to exchange junk drops for bayld....or exp..... or KU.....just anything that didn't completely waste my time.

Last night I would have been OK with GAX, hands, club, head, even neck on tree.....I got cure speed cape.

if you have a problem with the ***not dropping, then dont waste your time doing the event

they already gave you one choice for the people who are having trouble with their most wanted item

It's okay to be unhappy about not getting any good/usable drops in their first few kills. It doesn't mean they should rage-quit.

on the other hand, se made a very generous move letting you pick items from the library and it's pretty entitled to complain you didnt get the drop you wanted from 1 run

He is not mad he didn't get the item he wanted in 1 run, he got the 1 item of 6 he absolutely didn't want. That is some crappy odds and I would be a little salty as well. Doesn't mean he should give up and no it does not give off a sense of entitlement. It kind of reminds me of when you would spend the time farming an Omega set and when you killed him he would drop 2 eyes. Except make the Omega fight last 8 hours.

To answer the question, the Wildskeeper Reives KI are permanent and thus not consumed in Library. So you cannot get a second round of KIs and a second round of free drop selecting.

the fights doable in sub-2h with reasonably low numbers.. the loot/time ratio is actually pretty high :/

Yes I realize in normal situations its killable much faster than that, but he was stating his experience. Which in his case I would be upset at getting the only item I didn't want when I had 5 other options I would have been happy with.

to put in perspective my drops have been

Yumcax #1 - Ixtab

Hurkan #1 - Animikii Bullet

Yumcax #2 - Tamaxchi

Hurkan #2 - Pebble

Library Item - Buremte Hat

In that order. Yes, I'm pissed off that I received only a pebble when I showed up and was able to contribute enough to get 25k bayld back in that run. Doesn't mean I'm going to stop getting bayld farming those capes and try my luck again. Bottom line is cape is not the worst thing you can receive.

you realize just getting a pebble means the game tried to give you another bullet right?

That cape might as well be a pebble, it's useless.

I wish I got at least 1 of those items (not the pebble).

They do need a trade in system though, exchange your unwanted drop for something you prefer, or go with something to NNI style as in 5 gold = 1 platinum. I got 2 useless weapons last night, its like awwww fawk me!!!

Just make it like Delve, once you got the KI from the fight, you could then purchase items with Bayld, nuff said!

I'm with the OP, some of us don't have lots of time, or LS's doing events that build fast Bayld, so we do it the old fashioned way. To get 60K+ Bayld takes a good chunk of time. Then to see those efforts wasted on a damn pebble, come on SE! At least give us a reach around and allow us the option to purchase said items later after we waste more time farming Bayld. Make our efforts rewarded, might keep your player base alive.

My only complaint with the system would be that it can roll you an item you already possess. I think it would be nicer if it just made it guaranteed one of those you don't have, simply for the fact that it's a quite annoying event to put together.

3 Bullets and a Grip from Hurkan. (Though I sent myself 1 bullet, so have a spare, yay?)
1 10 hour Yumcax I couldn't stay up for the duration, and a 2nd attempt that ended with a 15minute server maintenance.
This game is awesome, new content is a blast.

I have heard confirmation from friends that the library also offers Fracture items of your choice, when completing all 3 Fractures. and would assume they will do so for the new fractures as well.

Maybe they mean the Anomaly Expert outside? She gives you a random delve drop everytime you beat all 3 delve bosses.

That's SE saying spend all your bayld on low gear so you get nothing but +2s!

And then they give you Gabbrath Meat

idk about your server but the colonization rate on bahamut in marjami is 100% =) pretty easy to me now! :D ive beaten it as first w/ 400 people on the sever and colo rate was back then 32% :3 and it only took slightly over an hour to do it. So it takes about 30min of good devotion and some mass numbers of people coordination to get it down =) gl ^^b
