Has there been any thought to new pets?

Regarding new pets, we're considering adding three with recipes (rabbit family, crab family, and chapuli family), and one more that's exchanged for Mweya Plasm. Sorry I have no image!

Greetings beastmasters!

Apologies that I have no images to share, but I can tell you that we will be adding 3 new types of pets (a rabbit type, chapuli type, and crab type) that can be obtained through synthesis recipes, as well as another pet which can be obtained by Mweya Plasm!

Having a feeling the rabbit is going to be in the design of the orange fluffy adoulin rabbits, and the crab I think will be the rock back/krabkatoa type.

Craklaw's would be more interesting than plain old crabs, but it seems sort of unlikely because of their attack types(AOE, Cone, single target).
I(not that I play the job now) wanted to see Chapuli, but Rabbit and Crab(katoa) are a little disappointing.
Edit: And yeah, despite looking so close, Crab and Craklaw are two completely different families that just happen to be based on the same idea.

the craklaw would be more epic! they could just change the bst version of the pet to single target attack. if we getting a Karkinos type crab then we want all the tp moves on it!. Mega Scissors and Venom Shower

Hopefully Plasm pet has some good TP moves that debuff the mob with a good amount of def down or evasion down.

why not make the new 1 hour ability "Call a special pet" - and you get a menu to choose one pet from 4 to 6 huge pets like Behemoth or Cerberus etc..

or just adjust the current pets to match the new weapons and gears .
