Final Fantasy Concept Art

Does anyone know if there is a publication(s) that have a bunch on the concept art?

There is always a FF concept art book for every game in the franchise, released in Japan at some point in time

There is a book that people have scanned into PDF format, but I doubt it's legal for me to post it here.

There have been many art books for FF11 released over the years. I'll post some pics of what I have later.

Are you shitting me? The alternate DRG AF1 looks SO much better than the current one( the second pic with the spiky boots, rounded pauldrons and plate mail)



I guess they ended up using that skin for Empyrean Armor...but still it looks dope. Also we almost had a cool Dragon Shield! Also at the bottom of the page where you see the 3 variations of the AF helmet, the top armet has a cooler, more dragonesque and aerodynamic shape, it's sleeker and has more prominent fins on the head. Instead we got the bottom version which looks so dorky,e specially the rounded part in the back of the head.

The boots on that alternate DRG AF look familiar.



Look closely. You can see they are the exact same boots with a different skin.

No drg af and af2 is the top one not the bottom hell you can even see them next to the 3 helms.

Looks more like the bottom one i think. The top one has a beveled appearance in the back.

That pic just shows it is the top one although yes the back portion is rounded off. The bottom on is rounded down at the front where as the af has a point exactly like the top concept helm. The wings are curved not half curved then going back to a straight part of the wing. The top of them bottom concept helm is rounded where as the af has a ridge going from the front to near enough the back of the helm.
