In the huge majority of the case, it's the player banned who is an idiot. When you get a ban or even a warning, you receive an email explaining the punishment and why you got it. Now, if people don't check their mails, changed mail whatever, it's their fault. I received an email for each of the sanction I have ever had and all of them featured a copy pasta when relevant (I even had my whole search comment copied, literally copy pasta). And the first email goes back to 2004. I'm all for shitting on SE when they are ***, but in this specific case, OP is at fault. OP must know why he got banned and the support anyway will always be able to tell you why you were banned. No sympathy for OP, if you got banned and cannot get it reversed you are at fault, 100%. Exactly, if you care enough you will try and try again. You insist you didn't cheat, so either you did and got caught and don't want to admit it, or you just got screwed by some billing error which is fixable. Beg, ***, plead, do whatever till you get someone who can help you. macsdf1 said: » Exactly, if you care enough you will try and try again. Even so, the ammount of times you'd need CS should be very few. I've never had to call them up before. GM calls were fine for when I had to contact them.

I thought of that being a total hassle. I looked around on SE Management System site, and found a thing called 'using your credit card'. This to me, is like using the original paying that we always had since, forever. No one, ever, should be having a problem with making their payments if they do that option. So freaking easy and so damn convenient. And I agree, if you did something wrong, SE WOULD E-MAIL you about a banning. Even though, we all can agree that SE is full of ***99% of the time, I am pretty sure that they would have contacted you through an E-Mail. If you are really wanting to get back into gaming again: 1) Call your bank, see if everything checks out fine. 2) Double check your payment via SE Management System. 3) CALL SE AND KEEP CALLING THEM TIL YOU GET AN ANSWER. EDIT-4) Make sure your card hasn't expired at all (had a problem with this). When I came back to Vana'diel a few years ago, I had to keep calling them like mad to get any information to return to 11. It is a pain in the *** thing to do, but I was intent on playing with my friends again. I hope this helps you, OP. The player's bank did a chargeback on a billing error by SE. SE in turn banned the account a few days after the billing error and chargeback. I have heard of this too. CnB double charging, then when you complain and go to the bank over the error, and they get you your money back, SE will ban you. See it a few times. I just use my debit card. If there is an issue, like when i lost my card and had a new one issued, the exp dates didn't match, so they locked my acct, and I had to pay the reactivation fee. Also, LS member just got his acct banned for payment reasons. They won't go into details with him though, after 6-7 calls good luck with everything! see you in ffxiv?

Had an account banned back years ago, even refused to use windower for fear of getting banned.... didnt help. Called SE several times refuses to tell what the reason was. The best answer out of hours and DAYS of calling was that it was related to the living address.. then years later after the ban, received a snail mail stating my account has been banned and no reason given again and on top of that the POL ID that was enclosed wasnt even my ID. Not only do they have poor costumer service.. but they are just plain *** holes.. I can totally see why the OP would just walk away and not come back. |
