If you use Pandora you can download saver2 any song that plays on Pandora it auto saves they also have a program similar for Spotify which if you haven't tried you should it is sooooo much better cause you can listen to a whole album as opposed to just 1-2 songs.

For gaming music, I used to like Galbadia Hotel...


...the site goes up and down over the years, but it still seems to be working--and they only allow one download at a time, but their selection is amazing. They do have some OSTs and such, but I went there only for ripped-game music that was never made into OSTs (like the jazz piano concierto pieces from the original 'The Sims' game build/buy modes, the samba from 'Clockwork Knight 2', etc.)

They have some really rare pieces ripped from some really obscure games there, for certain.
