Personally, I'm always trawling the BG forums, but their wiki and especially ffxiclopedia, is slow on getting the updates. I know they are fan run sites, but many people don't think to look beyond them (in fact, many don't even start with the wikis). Which again pervades the whole "No info on wiki yet, i'll buy wins instead" attitude.

If you wanted the item as well, you'd have to pay for that separately. No prices have been discussed on items as of yet though.

Someone mentioned about sharing strategy information. It's already been said but all the strats we use can be found on BG. The majority of the fights boil down to A. Zerg or B. Exploit gimmick and then zerg.

I've found BGwiki to be pretty damn fast with updates to new content, there are quite a few people actively adding(confirmed) things all the time now. It's almost weird to think about how dead and damn near useless bgwiki was just a few years ago compared to the state it's in now.
Clopedia and Gamerescape are dead to me, unless I need some testimonial on some really old fight for some reason.
It's been two weeks since this update(Seems like much less time for some reason) and BGwiki has strategies listed for all normal Delve NMs, has a complete loot pool list, KI's, maps for delve, and even the stat gains from the new augment system(Not even trying to spell that off the top of my head). I wouldn't call their speed of adding these things slow at all.

You can even pay 1m for KI and be in the alliance and I can't explain you everything chyula!

If it's obvious your Whm sucks, then sponging it up is still the DD's fault.

It's because your average PUG DD's idea of a Hybrid set is Twilight Mail + Helm.

Clearly that's the whm fault.

It's not the matter of laziness. I personally got into one via PUG and it took 40 minutes to get to the spot (would've been a lot longer if my husband didn't know half the way), and only 10 minutes to fail. Granted...the lead himself was new to it it seems, told all DD's to go /thf (do all DD's have to go /thf?) and had one WHM healing, 2 SCH's supporting but on blind duty too since there were no BLM's to do so.

Naturally, I'm demoralized, and pretty tempted to just buy the damn KI so that I can get on with farming my freaking plasm. But 1 mil is still too steep for me. :(

1mil is definitely a lot less then I would have bet groups would charge initially. Would totally take them up on the offer if I could be on at their times.

We could definitely get more than 1m. I mean when you think about it, 1m mil split between an alliance is pittance. We're not doing it to line our pockets.

It's purely a convenience thing. The gil will be used to buy beads so we spend less time farming and also don't have to mess around collecting gil off members for beads.

Oh, I'm not saying it's a horrible price. I'm saying for me, who gets maybe 100k a day and that's if I try (obviously more if I do dyna during ls events), 1 mil is steep.

Oh, one question though--is this for all KI's or 1 mil per KI?

Per Key Item. One horrible Delve run, is 3k plasm... that's 6 air lixers, or 420k on Asura right now, and only takes 45 minutes.

Hell, you can solo mobs outside for 5 minutes and farm the Shards worth 50-150k each. The rocks are another 30-200k depending on zone.

If you only make 100k/day, you aren't in the new areas, and therefore don't need these Key Items anyways.

Hmm...I do have some plasm that I was trying to save, but I guess I can sell it for the time being.

The new area is somewhere that I haven't explored as much as I'd like to, just seems like something you'd do with a group rather than alone.

Count me in for Foret when you get there. Also interested in BST axe if you guys decide to sell drops.


***I'm not joining in on all the forum BS here. Its a more than reasonable price for what they are offering. In the time I've spent failing these NMs I could have farmed up well more than 1 mil gil.
