I'm a little wary about picking it up, because of all the hassle I've been hearing about it. Has anyone else picked the Ultimate collection up off Steam? Any trouble with it (Registration, random bannings >_> etc)? EDIT: I know this is a little off-topic, but I figure it'd probably be better here rather than in a thread on its own. think it just came up on steam yesterday or today, tbh
Speaking of which, I have an extra US SoA code. I bought a digital copy from SE, then realized that I need the physical disc to install the expansion on my Xbox. Bought a physical copy from Gamestop. Now I have the extra code laying around.
How should I go about giving this away in a way that's more entertaining then just "here, have this code"? Update:
Spoken to SE they have now made Metaboli aware of how to resolve the issue, they said to get in touch with Metaboli get you account with them reactivated/cleared in order to be able to place a new order Gamesplanet. Once the order has gone through inc payment! they will send you a new code that will be canceled but with that they will send notication to SE to remove the block and reactivate our FFXi accounts. SE say this will take up to 5 days! It is out of SE’s hands this whole issue. They can’t lift the suspension off if they don’t get confirmation from Gamesplanet that payment has been made, hence why SE keep telling you to ask Gamesplanet to fix the problem for you.
NOTE: You will be doing a lot of Waiting!! So get your stress-ball/pet/partner/pills/etc. ready.
As for the new activation code, DO NOT USE IT!! If you do, you’ll get you account with gamesplanet blacklisted again! Just ignore it. Please note that there’s no way of using the Code anyways because it not something can be removed or replaced. Once you have registered a code with your SE-Account, that’s it. Only reason I said what it I did was because Gamesplanet made an emphasis of it and after all this I, myself, is a bit edgy -.-‘ Last thing, I would like everyone to know that what I described here was what I had to do to sort my partner’s account out. I got no guarantees at all that doing the same exact thing will solve things for you, but at least it’s a guideline to what you should do. There might be exceptions for your given case. All I can do now is hope you the best of luck into solving thing problem and hang in there. As far as I know, your account hasn’t been deleted or banned, just suspended. Just keep at it with gamesplanet until you get the results you want from them. It is obviously an issue with Metaboli. Now if you want a wild theory, I'd say an admin at Metaboli went rogue.... when you bring in a story which lacks the important details to make it believable with the know fact's people are gonna speculate whats the missing factor your op did only talk about swapping codes However first now we can see that there is a common factor in metaboli. and not the swapping codes you brougth up as a possible cause. ok this is weird my wife bought two codes fromo the na store since we live in na ( i just arrived from eu so my game is eu)
I got S.E support to change my NA codes to EU so they would work. now... last night my mule account got kicked out of game while i was sleeping and when i tried to login this morning it told me i had no content id. just 3 mins ago the same thing happend to my main... i can still access the game on my wife's accounts. i think S.E. is messing up my SoA codes of cause i couldn't get help this morning of the na support since its an eu account so i have to wait to freaking monday and call the eu department the midle of the night... nice service S.E. EU user here. Bought 4 codes from Gamesplanet in the space of a couple of weeks.
1) - To start new account with Destrier Beret. Bought full pack code. (before seekers release) 2) - Wanted Adoulin registered for Frank. Bought SoA download + code. 3) + 4) wanted my other 2 accounts to have SoA access too, so paid for 2 FULL Seekers codes for spare activation codes for Berets + Shirts. Already had the Adoulin install from paying for and downloading just the Seekers pack for Frank. Got a threatening email from Gamesplanet saying fraud blah blah blah. (around about code 3) No idea why when all 4 were paid for up front from a 10 year old paypal account. Go to this link and conform some details. It obviously wasn't scam because it was from same place as confirmation codes had come. Filled in name and email address. Put in phone# box 'notachancedude' lol Got email saying everything is ok then. Thank you for your response.. Not heard anything since. All codes worked for registrations and extras. |
