Yea SE is having problems getting TE 360 ver to gamestop. Went to go pick mine up an nothing even on Thier pc enroute or in the store ( or any for that matter in the state)

For real though. I'm one of the 3 owners of a Designer Pet Bed business, and I gotta say, to see Amazon do something much more efficient than SE can...yeah, that's pretty bad. SE needs to be able to provide their products with their own services- and while I can say this comes down to Japan's reluctance toward internet retail services, SE is an international company, and they need to be able to set up a system where they can match their outside distributors and retailers. >_>

Gamestop's website says "Online Only" I would assume that means your wont be finding it in any of their stores.

Well hopefully it gets shipped then to my house lol cuz I paid for the seekers edition in store for the 360.

yes, SE hired DR, and DR's error ended up having SE be held accountable for it. So they're both in the hole here regardless.

What I'm saying is, Square-Enix needs to set up their own digital download system and have it tested occasionally to fix any bugs and other errors, and quit this third party crap that is giving them bad reps.

Haven't gotten mine yet. I'll be on the look out though.

Won't know til this afternoon if they have them in, but had preordered two 360 from my Local Gamestop Yesterday.

I actually went afk for a while, came back, and the install screen was up xD Thanks. Was the install only supposed to take like 5 seconds? Lol it flew!

I had pre-ordered copies from the SE site for the Xbox and got an email early this morning stating shipping will be delayed because they are out of stock of the item. Which sounds very suspect considering it's the release date and I did pre-order weeks ago. I think they just weren't ready for any of it tbh.

It's Square Enix. Honestly... are you suprised?

This just goes to show how bad of a business SE really is. How can a game that is pre-ordered already be out of stock. I guess this is SE attempt to give the shaft to console owners.

Discouraged. Honestly if this is like this for a 10 year old game, why would I try FFXIV which has already flopped once? Horific business blunder here for sure.

So I pre-ordered from SE (@4:17am est. 3/26/2013), or digital rivers w/e BS name that co. has. After wrestling with the site for 20-30 min, I finally got it to spit out a "DOWNLOAD" option for me. Then to my surprise (not really) I'm met with an error screen telling me its been longer than 30 days and my download window has expired. /cancel order

Between the problems with people getting banned for payment errors, clicknbuy, and now this, I'm starting to wonder if SE just bids out their ***to the lowest bidder. Then again after selling off development to third-party chinese labor, theres no low too low.

That just gave me a terrible look on my face. Let's hope they don't go that low. :S

are the expansion keys region locked? Like if I have an account made in the EU and bought a code off amazon NA would it not work on my EU character?

Amazon blocked me after 4 copies because my bank is a tool, but install and registration went flawlessly there. Got all codes and download in 3 minutes, if anyone hasn't purchased yet.

But how much will you be charging US to play the expansion!? ;)

I just got an email from SquEnix regarding the download.

I was able to get to a download link and am downloading it now. Seems they fixed their mistake. Hopefully, everyone will get emails with the updated information like I did.

EDIT: Install went fine, and an update is running right now, checking files. So I guess, no errors for me.

They did for FFXIV one of the first times they released it (google ffxiv chinese development and look at the pages on pages of discussions).
I know that this is more geared toward the "good riddance to the SE president" thread but to me that's a sign of the reasons why the company is dying. Go from keeping the fanbase happy with the best RPGs ever made that seemlessly transition from one to the next, to seeking mass appeal and shucking everything that made the series legendary for graphics and glitter, fashion and fame. Not only that but they vulture over the corpses of previous success. FF7-2 Versus: moneygrab re-re-release HD (I feel like SE is courtney love and squaresoft was kurt cobain... were just now seeing SE after it's lost all the pre-written material it kept under the bed).

Reading all of these posts just make me very happy to have gotten it through Amazon...not a single hiccup

I bought my copy only this morning and it still counted as a preorder. Not seeing any bonuses though...

I am on the same boat, we need to wait the EU version, it seems there is a way to install US expansion on EU game through registry but i wont try to destroy it...
