Why in hell is it making xbox users download EVERYTHING?! We can't just download the new content? It's only a 15 hr download...... Fml

I admit I have not read all pages to find if a link allready been posted, I've been searching, been in the control panel for Square Enix, where I tought I could download it.

I have 2 versions of the game, one US from NA realese and one EU, where can I go and download both of them digital and pay online ?

Any help is appriciated, thanks!

I update how I normally do: From someone sharing the files and replacing with mine in my FFXI Folder.

My friend did the exact same thing: Used the same files I did. Nothing wrong.

I am also noticing grahic glitches, such as when I lock-on a monster or NPC or player, I cant move near them until I take lock-on off, Noticed increased movement speed(on my side, maybe graphic problem idk?) When I asked my friend, he said I was walking normally.

Dunno what the *** happened. Never had this stuff happened since I started this game oh so many years ago.

This might have came up before and sorry for being ***and re-asking as there is a lot of different information around and Couldn't spot what I was after.

Downloaded the update this morning and logged in, then figured I would stop being cheap and get SoA. My bro talked me through it but as I have gone to log back in the entire game seems to have vanished.

Currently my file check is as 14% 5k files and 20+ mins to go...

Anyway around this or am I stuck manning up and waiting it out? Thanks.

Getting 'FFXI is not installed' error when installed SoA. Cba with a full reinstall, especially not through Steam >_>

Torrented the US installer, and it's working fine. Now I just need the damn key to be emailed.

I stayed up late last night for the version update which finished just after midnight..
I've just installed SoA on my 360 then registered it online. Then I got another update to do and this is a big one!! wots going on? :(

heyo all.

My fatty ps3 recently took a ***, and I switched all my BS to PC. the transition was fairly painless, as I had my wife set up on there previously, so the whole transfer + buying adoulin went smooth as hell, no hiccups.

after commandeering the home PC for personal use, I didn't feel that I should leave the rest of the family out in the cold, so I bought the wife a toshiba laptop. over the course of the week, I got her account transfered to her labtop, full game + adoulin, installing ect., all went smooth as hell, no hiccups.

now, this is where ***gets confusing. on a few different levels. I was maybe feeling altruistic or possibly lost my mind for a moment, & decided it would be a good idea to get my friend a pawnshop bought PC (birthday / wedding present) and install the game, get a ps3 controller hooked up, ect. well I buy off amazon just I had previously, & after a confusing conversation with his fiance to get his login info, get it 100% up & running until I notice..... no adoulin.....

now, did I just get *** because I bought the ultimate edition for a guy who only needed to technically buy the expansion? because when I try to punch in his activation code, I got "the user couldn't add another service account .. yadayadyada if your code starts with a U you need to start a new PoL"

man I will be pissy if I have to buy the expansion a fourth time for 3 people >.<
