How difficult is this now days? Could a Aegis Pld and Whm? Also have Sch, Rdm or many other jobs available for the second spot. As an alternate would Bst with Gooey work better? Any advice appreciated!

yes aegis pld + whm could kill it. Think Ive even heard of a pld soloing it.

A bst can easy solo it. A pld with a whm can duo him easy enough. And hell if you want to go old school on his *** bring a thief for th :)

I could have soloed em on my DRG if it werent for terror :/

Stardiver was rocking him for 2k+ and taking off huge chunks of his HP especially with Ancient Circle up, intimidation spam, his gregale wing and ***didn't do much with barblizz and MDT gear. In the air it takes a bit longer, though my Jumps were rocking his face for 800-1.8k and my wyvern could still hit him+use breaths with smiting.


How do BSTs solo him when he gets in the air? Or can all pets hit em in the air just not players?

I soloed him on my PLD/DNC with Aegis pretty easy. Was in no real danger just took maybe an hour to kill him and deal with a few bomb adds.

With that kind of flash, no wonder it wasn't dangerous.

What pet would a BST use? Falcor? Gooey Gerard?

Its easy to solo with Falcor. Pull it to the corridor where everyone use to kill as an ally its easy, no adds as bst if you know anything at all about bst. It only flies for like 30seconds to 1min forgot time. Then lands, and back to gettin a slow but steady beatdown by falcor. Very easy solo bst.
