Anyone know why when I try to submit my preorder it's giving "out of stock" messages about the music bonus?
A) Was there some cutoff to get it with preorder?
B) How the hell is a digital item "Out of Stock"?
It won't let me submit my order because of that, and it won't let me remove it from my cart either (which the system message is telling me to do -.-).

I've come to the conclusion that they just dont want my money.
In the US and nothing can be found in Steam and of course Steam Support has no idea what I'm talking about.

SE really just does not care about us. Get used to it /sad face.
You can pre-order the US version on Amazon. (I don't know if the SE store offers the same thing, but they hold onto the fact that you bought it and you can re-download it in the future,).

Amazon has the price at 39.99 while the Square-Enix site has it priced at 19.99 Promo. Idk about you, but I would rather save 20 bucks.
I think also if you purchase through SE's store, you get a free soundtrack download. Not sure if it's that music box soundtrack they're releasing soon, or just the soundtrack to SoA.

The expansion pack alone for PC download on SE's site is $29.99, while there is a special offer on their "ultimate" collection which will essentially include all previous content packages including SoA for the now reduced price of $19.99. Also if I recall correctly, the ultimate edition includes a code for that silly chocobo shirt with even more silly gimmicks to get your *** to level 30 in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't cancel that order just yet, I am unable to confirm the purchase at this time, due to the music box digital download being out of stock? I guess will have to wait and see if the problem gets resolved.

Just seems really large oversight to say "Preorder Y and get X!!" "You cannot preorder Y because we are out of X!!"

Meh they don't have live chat avail anymore (at least not seeing it as an option). Email would take too long to get a response for me to care about sending one
I got to the area where you can do live chat, but it says it is currently unavailable. Then goes on to tell me to come back at 9am pst. Which at the moment its 20 after 9... Why you no take my money S/E?!?!

20 minutes of searching customer support options, the best I come up with is sending an email through the "support" center. It's been at least a full day of not being able to check out because of the musicbox download out of stock fiasco. We'll see.
I opened an email ticket, but it really does look like SE just doesn't like money anymore.

Chat support is available only for certain types of support. I'm pretty sure anything under the Products and Services category is e-mail only.
You could probably file a ticket for chat under an incorrect category but there's even less chance they'll be able to help. I just sent an e-mail ticket.

I called Square-Enix and was told to call Digital River since they handle the online store orders...
They were no help, they had the same problem when they tried to process the order... said they would report it to the technical department and to try later.

It just seems like they mistakenly added the whole music box soundtrack instead of the bonus "mini" one.

Well, the probably-mistaken discount was removed now. If only SE had items in the cart remain the price they were when added. :(
Even with the discount removed it's still giving the same message.
