Thank you NVIDIA for the new shiny GTX660 Hey guys I haven't run the benchmark yet but have a gtx 670 ftw. Have another I havent installed yet but was curious. Do you think it would be better to sell both of my cards (I assume i can get 650-700 for both, or close. And upgrade to a single card instead of SLI?
so my effing card wont fit into my micro ITX case... i didn't realize the thing was so huge. plus my comp wont start with the new motherboard... aargh...looks like i should upgrade my case...
I was told that 14 wasn't able to support SLI yet though they were trying to get it to do so before game launch (feel free to correct this if info is incorrect as it is something I was told and dont know for a fact myself). Coincidentally I too have a dual GTX 670 and also thought about selling them for a single but it ended up scoring a 9552 on the benchmark (max setting, full screen, 1920 x 1080 resolution non overclocked) which is good enough for me anyway since I'm still likely to just play it on windowed mode due to sheer force of habit from 11 (also scored a 15,140 on benchmark windowed with 1920 x 1080 resolution non overclocked which i guess is a plus). The GTX 670 is more than good enough to net a "Extremely High performance" rating on the benchmark but if you can find a buyer quickly and are a hardcore gaming freak then sure why not upgrade lol.

The GTX660 I bought barely fit into my case. Had to get creative with a few wires on the motherboard. Missed the HD by about 6mm(1/4") Siren.Knivesz said: » I was told that 14 wasn't able to support SLI yet though they were trying to get it to do so before game launch (feel free to correct this if info is incorrect as it is something I was told and dont know for a fact myself). Not really a hardcore gamer on pc. but knew some games dont like SLI and figured it might be easier to sell my 670s and get a card that is just as good as both of them in 1. So i never have the issue. Well I was thinking I could just say F it and sell my extra unopened gtx670 ftw for 350ish. and get a 770. then install that and sell my other one for like 300. I like Evga, but a lot of ppl like the MSI 770 lightning. Though I think i would rather have this one
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130936 and whats the difference between that and this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130925 so, io got my 780, took forever to get thr stupid thing in, installed drivers, and the built in OC software, and tried to run 14... the numbers are worse than my old card. Anyone know why this is? am i missing something, or do i have a junker, and need to get it replaced?
im running on a hotel TV currently, which has lower resolution than the one in my truck, i'd figure that would help my case, not sure if that has anything to do with it edit: my graphics clock appears to be stuck at 575..wth could be drivers (check if you are running beta, though beta might be all thats out for it atm), or a PSU issue.
hmmm usualy 575 is the idle speed on my 780 oc.
wich PSU do you have . the gtx 780 can draw 250w (299w overclocked for me) try to download evga precision X and ovga OC scanner and log the mem and gpu speed while doing the benchmark . if your psu would be to weak your system would shut down on its own . maybe there are just some problems with windowed mode but iam not sure . evga precision X getting a larger case anyway, with a larger PSU, for just incase, and ill test it for real when i get home. even my current card is suddenly performing worse...dunno if something is wrong witht he drivers or the Mobo, but, ill find out soon i guess
If your willing to sell that GTX 670 FTW i'll gladly take it off of your hands. I'm in need of a second one but, make sure it's a nice price. :)
turns out the GTX drivers 320.18 or something are terrible, and kept crashing my card, and my computer sometimes. its the automatic drivers given with the gtx experience thing. i had to find 320.49 from the website, and since i got those, everything has been working WAY better
