FFXI Config Analog Stick Issues

Hello everyone! I was just curious if anyone could help me out!

When I go into the FFXI config tool for the gamepad, everything works fine except for the analog sticks. It is as if the left stick is being pressed down and left and no matter how I configure it, it remains that way. The right stick that controls the camera only controls the left stick as well!

I have tried both XBCD 0.2.6 and 0.2.7 and when I run the XBCD Setup Utility, the controller works fine. The sticks behave, and every button is registered. I have 2 brand new Xbox 360 wired controllers, and this problem occurs on both. When I go back to the default MS driver, the sticks work fine. I am on a laptop running Windows 7 64 bit.

I am somewhat dumb when it comes to computers and what not, but have never had this problem in the past. I've dug through a few forums and haven't had much luck. If anyone has input, that would be great! If not, I'll just suck it up and deal with my macros on the bumpers haha!
