Anyone have a bis tp set for stage 5 Laphria?

I don't know if it's BiS but Laphria and the +4 AF Legs and Feet make it super easy to cap Double Attack and so I made swaps to maximize Store TP while maintaining 100% DA.

I started going Sakpata Head/Hands, Empy Body +3, AF+4 Legs and Feet, 2x Moonlight Rings, Schere Earring, Boii Ear, Aurgelmir Orb +1, Store TP Ambu Cape, JSE Neck +2, and Ioskheha Belt +1. This is 44% DT, with 5 additional PDT- and can easily cap MDT- with Shell. But if DT- is absolutely necessary, swap to Coiste Bodhar and Nyame Feet Path B. Gear Haste is capped.

Hope this is helpful!

With st5 autoatk dmg is very important, sakpata head ranked is absolute BiS for tp.. and you should seriously consider adding pdl from pieces like sakpata and ephramad ring in tp set for atk capped situations (u multibox, so it's often the case)

You should check these things from Kastra calculator btw. Total dps from simulations, not time to ws onry. Autoatk dmg is what savez laphria from being mediocre imo, it's 100% worth it to min max it in tp set for max dps. War has access to tons of dA dmg%, use it!

I have been focusing on a white damage build now. I use 3x Revelation with the Sakpata Head and Hands and it's very nice! I barely sacrificed any Store TP and gained loads of PDL, DT- and Crit. And I almost always have Aria up with AM2 or 3. I love it!

Laphria/Helheim/Farsha/Ukon and WARs tool kit allows for some crazy white damage. I don't run a dedicated white damage set but I'm going to steal Velner's.

I was thinking the exact same thing lol, but I am very lazy. I use this atm:

Those are the last two pieces I'd swap in; Sakpata Helm and Agoge Cuisses double attack damage is good. Why TP in Boii Mask?

Depends on the weapon. Naegling's white damage isn't a big deal at all, and those pieces have better TP stats.

Boii mask has da, crit rate, and *** levels of dt, is that a real question?

This is my set. It's geared to maximize white damage while still maintaining capped DA rate with sTP wherever possible. Laphria's white damage is second only to Ukon, so it's worth your while to boost it where it makes sense.

Sorry, I used the curse word.

Ikenga's axe warrior on mboze doesn't give a *** about white damage.

Chango war doesn't give a *** about white damage.

Loxotic mace WAR doesn't build for white damage.

Shining one WAR doesn't prioritize white damage.

And so on.

But praise Altana that Boii Mask +3 has critical hit rate. Oh so important with the Loxotic Mace.

(Her set works well with Odyssey if still doing that old content.)

This is one situation where I'm going to push back at you Male.

What better tp stats? Boii Mask +3 has 2 more double attack than sakpata's helm, 6% crit rate, and 11 -dt. My set has 104 DA rate, so it hits the 100% DA cap after the game's fractional rounding, making the extra DA rate useless. My set has -54 DT so it hits the true -dt cap. The 6% crit rate is simply inferior on all counts to sakpata's 15% DA damage. Sakpata's helm also has 5 PDL on top of the DA damage, and a lot more magic evasion.

It's pretty trivial for warrior to cap -dt and DA rate once you get all your end game gear. Empyrean head is only good while you're still gearing up. Once you get all your gear your stats reach critical mass and the empyrean head falls by the wayside. Even though naegling doesn't focus on white damage, sakpata's helm is the best fit for pretty much all end game warrior builds. Now if empyrean had a large amount of store TP on it instead of crit rate, THEN we'd have a lot more to discuss. But it doesn't, and when you compare it side by side against sakpatas alongside the entire grid, it just isn't that good in the end.

The guy i was replying to was responding to this.

Why wear revelation masque over sakpata's helm?

Hmm, 6 stp 7 da or 5 da and 15 da damage. Tough call.
7 stp 7 da or 6 da and 11 da damage. I'm not sure.

Then, as a separate response, to the second question, I explained why you would wear boii helm. Because it's a strong TP piece. Idk if it's best in slot, probably depends a lot on the rest of your set, but it's a little silly to ask why someone would wear a piece of gear with phenomenal TP stats.

There is a valid argument to use revelation masque in your tp set. I think the optimal tp set for most weapons ends up with 4/5 revelation and sakpatas gloves. I would consider Laphria separately here because Laphria does have a much heavier emphasis on white damage than naegling, shining one, or loxotic. And in Laphria’s case I still think sakpatas helm is right. The question asked was for Laphria stage 5 tp builds, so we responded as such.

That said, I think there are several revelation pieces you really want to get to rank 30 before they become worth it. At their base several revelation pieces are already good enough for bard, but warrior has much better options and base revelation isn’t as good. I think it’s a case where the set reaches critical mass with all pieces at r30 and at that point 4/5 does become Bis for tp gain. But that’s more a future planning thing. Limbus is so grindy I don’t like to discuss too heavily on r30 stipulations. It’ll be a while before people get complete sets finished.

It's been more than 2 weeks since anyone mentioned laphria. Gotta check context here. A guy asked why his LS mate, without mentioning which weapon the LS mate was wearing, was wearing the RANK 30 pieces of revelation.

So...I feel like my responses were quite relevant.

There's some argument for the body, but I think head and legs are very strong pieces for WAR to upgrade, especially for like 7 of their top 10 weapons.

There’s argument for the whole set. The only revelation piece I wouldn’t r30 for warrior is the hands, because sakpata is just better. Even then I’d take the r30 hands over Bunzi’s on bard. Revelation is basically the strongest tp gear we’ve ever seen. But it takes a long time to get r30 and it’s generally not worth bothering with it at base level on warrior.

Yup, that's why the answer when someone says "why is my friend wearing R30 revelation gear on WAR?" is to say this, it's the best possible gear you can wear on WAR, not to say here's my set with inferior gear in it because I can't be *** to do Limbus.

How long it takes to make isn't relevant. If this guy wants to figure out how long it will take him to max it, he can figure that out himself. If you wanna mention that the base gear isn't great then I guess...go for it? But he was asking about R30 gear, so it seems weird to bring up R0, to me, personally.

If someone said hey, why is my friend wielding a laphria? Would you say it's a great weapon but takes a while to farm, so you should just use a naegling instead?

Weird side conversations when the answer to this guy's question was straightforward. Your ls mate is wearing it because it's amazing.

How viable something is to obtain is always relevant. Would you advocate everyone get a mythical wsd+20 shield if the only way you could get it was winning rank 1 bonanza twice?

Advocating for 4/5 r30 limbus armor when limbus armor hasn't even been out long enough for anyone to have 4/5 pieces at r30 is top level theory crafting though, well done.

"what set should I wear"
"limbus r30 4/5 it's bis!"
"most anyone has atm is one piece at r30, what are you on about"
"it's bis! Everything else doesn't matter!"
"... Are you ok?"

Imagine a video game where you can make just a single piece of limbus armor and you weren't forced to make all of them at once.

Obviously not ffxi. It's impossible to do that. But imagine, a fantasy game where you could just make a single piece of armor if you want, and then wear that.

And then, if you like, you could make a second piece of armor.

Then you, like the OP comment, could wear TWO pieces of armor from the same set.

Oh, that we lived in such a world. Alas, we need to make all 5, and can only discuss the time it takes to make the whole set. Drat.

Cool story.

In the real world, you will find maybe one or two people that have even one r30 piece.

The rest of us plebs are wearing something else.

Yeah yeah, no dedication to the game, no honour. Our children are ashamed to be seen in the same party as us. Our grand children have striken our names from the family tree.

Theorycrafting the BiS tp set with R30 revelation is easy. It's this

ItemSet 389073

Total DA rate is 68% before cape, so you can wear STP +10 cape. It has the best tp gain stats of anything we can get, best sTP, high crit. Etc. But it's only BiS at R30. The augs give 28 DA rate and without that it isn't at all BiS. Revelation needs to be fully ranked up to be relevant, and nobody has more than 1 or two pieces completed. I've run the hell out of limbus and I have alabaster earring complete, and one duty piece. That's it. I won't finish my second duty piece for a couple weeks, and it's roughly a 3 month wait to get my next piece (barring exceptional luck). Since I'm working on duty this year my revelation is gonna have to wait until next year.

What we have available to us right now is absolutely relevant to the discussion. Will Revelation be BiS down the road? Yeah, it will. And we can start talking about it when people actually get to that point. Limbus is already a tedious grind and it's still relatively new. You're putting the cart before the horse assuming multiple pieces of R30 limbus gear in your sets right now though.

It's common sense really. If you have a piece of revelation maxed out add it to your set. But when people come asking for advice on what gear they should try to get to improve their tp sets today, revelation is not worth discussing. They either have it or they don't. If they do then it should already be in their sets. If they don't then saying "just buy it and get it to R30" isn't great advice.

I disagree that it isn't worth discussing. It is either worth working towards the goal or not for BiS. Just like how many of the new limbus weapons aren't worth it.

Perhaps there was some confusion in the back and forth between the posts above. I think Revelation is absolutely worth working toward, just like duty armor is. I plan on R30ing both revelation and duty sets one day. We're grinding limbus for a reason. When you finish a piece or get it near finished revelation becomes BiS and you should incorporate it into your builds. But we're all at different stages in our limbus progress. Some people are building other sets, and even those who are doing revelation will build in a different order. Nobody is saying revelation is bad or not worth investing time in.

Tested conqueror berserk values with someone the other day and observed a value higher than expected based on the wiki information on berserk and conquer.

We saw with buffs, could have been the cor hat effect...
A difference of 136,212 depending on just songs or rolls and songs
This was 136 or 212 over using berserk without conqueror

It appears to scale and I would like to find out the % of normal berserk at mastered and how much conqueror actually adds.

Anyone with conqueror able to test?
Wondering if it's worth building just for swap in.
