More specifically: 'which of these spells do you want to become castable by players and why'? *note, the spells do exist in the game, but can only be used by certain enemies at the moment*

Divine:
- Banish IV (can be cast by SMN Light elemental though)
- Banishga III

Enfeeble:
- Bio IV
- Curse
- Diaga II
- Diaga III
- Dispelga
- Graviga
- Paralyga
- Poison III
- Silencega
- Slowga
- Virus

Elemental:
- Aeroga V
- Blizzaga V
- Firaga V
- Stonega V
- Thundaga V
- Waterga V

Enhancing:
- Hastega

Feel free to point out other spells that are not castable by us.

I'm still wondering why we don't have Diaga II yet. Also, poison III would help a lot on kite strategies. Curse and Virus would be nice, but SE would probably make the vast majority of the NM's immune to those since they would be too easy to defeat otherwise. Can you imagine sticking curse on let's say... Pil? >=)

Virus and curse would be cool. Blu already has virus but a non-blu spell would be nice aswell. Any Aoe enfeebling to rdm would be great aswell lol, not sure when you would use them.. but for completeness!

I remember back at 75 we used to curse Ouryu with Igqira/Genie equip. We had a BLM aggro and get hit by him until curse landed or BLM died (lol) which resulted in like 10% HP- would be atleast fun to have it as spell, while it mostly wont make a difference since you kinda want to land it while the mob still has full HP.

Divine: Banish IV. Not that it matters to much either way I guess. Banishga III would probably make more sense. Neither would be incredibly useful.

Enfeebling: Poison III. Can't see any of the others being so useful in current and maybe future content, unless we get some original Dynamis like event in Seekers(Never did Einherjar, not sure what the new one is like, maybe some useful there? who knows.)

Dark Magic: Well Bio IV cause that's all the exists as far as I know.

Enhancing: Hastega. Not that I play either of the jobs that would ever get it. Maybe if it did exist, I could like get haste when I do anything that isn't with my mule or friends. Champion's only lasts so long...
Used to be more enhancing spells in the .dats but were never used for Mobs and not sure if they even exist anymore. Barignis is the only one I really remember.
Elemental: Meh. Elemental is the most boring category ever besides AM/Aja's effects/Helices. Couldn't have one without all either way.
Just the most boring progression in the game. Probably only use Thundaga V and Blizzaga V to.

Blue Magic: So many I'd love to see, but we'd never be able to fit them in with the current cap on set points. As necessary as the cap is, it still frustrates me. And their attempt to give us something extra was mostly a failure.

Edit: Actually, Toad for Enfeebling, totally forgot it existed.
Barignisra/Etc do still exist apparently. Not entirely sure what they are supposed to do though.
It's either raising two elements at same time(Can see Fire and Water animations for Baraquara) or maybe raises one while lowering the other, which is dumb unless it surpassed the current barspell cap. Look cool though.

they already are mostly immune to virus. only exception off the top of my head is Fafnir.

I want to be able to conquer a magical bow of light that uses my divine magic skill so I can shoot bolts of light at random stuff :Q they would just drain a small amount of MP instead of buying ammo

It's actually Plague, not Virus. Virus is the status effect the prevents HP/MP recovery while healing - which would also be hot should a mob end up idling.

I would like a castable, scaled-down version of Alectryon's Contamination. Something like...

-Transfers one randomly chosen status ailment from the caster to the caster's current target-

My first time fighting this mob, I was on Rdm. No one bothered to tell me about that particular ability, so I stacked Tier II enfeebs on it without giving it a second thought. It was a bad day.

Mega Flare
deals non-elemental magical damage
99 BLU
Available only while under "Unbridled Learning"

Contamination would be nice for BLU. If you could inflict weakness self destruct would be immensely awesome.

There's a shield in the game that already allows this effect; it's known as contagion transfer~

Fix all elemental damage to have the same base damage for it's tier, so people stop spamming thunder magic. Might actually encourage some players to consider using elemental magic the target's weak to.

Addendum Cure V for scholar.
Innate tier IV elemental magic for Sch.
Tier II helices.
Adloquium that scales with enhancing magic.

Doom for Rdm.
En-plague for Rdm (non accession-able)
Stop for Rdm, and Addendum White Sch
Make it so that enfeebling the opponent makes it weaker to the element that the enfeebling magic is strong to.
Some sort of quick cast spell that will interrupt magic, but not give stun effect.

Virus for Drk and Rdm.
