Well, obviously her Bitcheus Majora Lobe is underdeveloped! Who on Earth tries to ruin a guy's day by verbally antagonizing and taking a swing? What a neanderthal! Most of us know light passive-aggression sprinkled with the head *** and insincere smile over the course of a few days gets the job done.
People who take the "Customer is always right" mentality a bit to far... They forget that they are not the only customer and if they are causing problems for 10+ other customers (in this case possibly endangering their lives if the bus was moving when she grabbed him) they will not be tolerated.

While it's easy for us to sit and talk about what could have been done better lets face it, he can't exactly just walk away when hes stuck in the driver's chair. Nor could we know how far she would have taken it. If it is true that she reached over and grabbed him by the throat that is past the point of asking them nicely to get off the bus. If he had tried to call transit police on her we don't know she wouldn't have become more aggressive but in that case he would have been stuck in a posistion that would make it difficult to defend himself (sitting in the chair). Maybe he over reacted, maybe he didn't, with out being there it's hard to say.

Regardless of right and wrong everyone has their line... before crossing that line it's easy to shrug things off but it gets harder as you get closer. Anyone whos been pushed past that line can tell you though once you are pushed over it any ammount of self control breaks down and you just act. This woman learned that lesson the hard way.

I have to say though if this had been a man not a woman this would be looked at very different by alot of people >.>

Oh, Ina! I think you missed the joke. :/

I whole-heartedly agree with you.

Actually, I think if everyone was required to have at least one customer service job at some point in their life, people would be a little more empathetic towards each other. Not saying that most jobs, aren't customer service related in some way nowadays, but I think most people will definitely benefit from that experience early on in their lives.

Hmmm...This little chat reminds me of an article that I may need to scrounge around for. Basically, a restaurant patron runs up a $1,000+ bill then instead of leaving a tip, leaves his waiter a smarmy "tip".

Situations like this is exactly why NYC policy changed to say nothing if patrons skip the bus fare. Leave that ***to the NYPD for your own protection, it's not worth getting attacked because defending yourself means you lose your job.

In the past year or two 3-4 bus drivers have been stabbed by patrons similar to this lady when confronted about fares and the solution has been to put plastic barriers between the operators and patrons. It looks like Cleveland needs to get to doing that before a bus driver is killed worrying more about his/her job than their lives.

This is going on in d/c too, our buses(specially those that run down town) are being fitted with driver barriers to protect the driver, and money transactions have been moving toward a wireless card type system. Riders put money on a fare card they keep in their wallet and when they board the bus they touch the card to a pad and it deducts their fare from the card.

He should have kept his cool and just refused to leave the next stop unless she got off. That way he could get the other patrons to uppercut her instead of doing it himself.

That said... I don't feel bad for the woman at all and as someone who rides the buses a lot and sees ***like this fairly often I really enjoyed watching her get floored.

PS. What the *** was the guy in the bright orange vest doing if not solving disputes like that?

Pritty sure he was another passenger, construction workers often wear those I think.

As someone who has worked in a service industry I found that more satisfying to watch then I should have as well >.>

Both my husband and I watched this. Professionally, the bus driver was in the wrong. He should have followed guidelines, pulled over, called the police, and waited for them to handle her. Regardless of her choking him, spitting on him, threatening him, he had the witnesses that would back up an assault against him. She would have been in jail with a pending lawsuit.

Socially, she deserved every inch of that punch. Women complain and moan about equal rights; well, if you want to act tough and put your hands on a human, expect to have hands put on you. You meet someone with physical force, you get physical force in return and both my husband and I agree to that.

In the end, both were in the wrong and everyone was treated with an uppercut of epic proportions.

Unfortunately, if he loses his job over this ordeal, she will win. With a person like that, there's hardly enough sense to be knocked in her skull that would make any impact anyway.

Oh man, that was the hardest I've ever laughed at work.

It's amazing how passengers using public transportation can get an attitude. I've never quite seen a case like this but I've had the ..pleasure.. of riding the bus with drunks/crazies/annoying teenagers who all shockingly think they're right and the driver is wrong. It's nice to see the driver do something about it and in such a comical way. Comical for me, any way.

It pisses me off that the media is treating and presenting this woman like a saint. According to them, she's a 25 year old teenager. Does that mean I'm a 26 year old teenager too? It's just sad how they jumped to the "poor defenseless woman" angle. Thank god the driver isn't white cuz the media would again turn this into something stupid like RACIST WHITE DRIVER UPPERCUTS POOR DEFENSELESS TEENAGE CHURCH GIRL WHILE SHE WAS SIMPLY SPREADING THE WORD OF GOD!!1!

I remember one time, while riding the buss to work (about 6-7 yrs ago?) some teenage kid tried to get on the buss, and after a small conversation with the driver (it seemed like the kid asked for a free ride, and driver refused to) the kid got off the buss, and punched one of the windows shattering it and he ran away.
driver made us fill a lil sheet of paper to report the incident while he radio'd/reported the incident himself.

You want to act like a man I'll treat you like a man! Although now that I think about it when and how did such a stereo type begin. I to this day have always followed that rule, thanks to my father. I'm sure he does too, but when push comes to shove. Backed into a corner. You aren't left with too many choices. Rules are meant to be broken.

Fair enough. Terrible word choice I would say.

She got what she deserved and he will get in trouble just for the fact that in his position requires more out of him then that.

I have had friends who have gone to jail for defending themselves from a gf/wife who got violent. Society needs to change their thought on "never hit a woman". Woman love to scream equality till it doesn't benefit them anymore then back to "ladies first" "never hit a woman" "women and children first" etc.....

He should of opened up with a combo on her.
