Can't Install Or Uinstall FFXI

I recently moved my FFXI folder to a new HDD, and completely removed the HDD it was originally on. When trying to boot up FFXI now via POL, it says "FFXI is not uninstalled.

I uninstalled FFXI vanilla, then installed it fine, but when trying to uninstall or install any of the expansions, i get the error

Error 1325 Playonline is not a valid short file name

I deleted the entire FFXI folder, so it doesn't even exist, but it still says I have it installed in uninstall add/remove programs, and even trying to uninstall it there doesn't work.

Any idea how I can fix this? ;_;
