So I have recently gotten a Black Abyssite and was wondering what is a good low man set up ^^ or a solo even :D im willing to try a solo, im mostly after the Int/MAB +1 ring ^^ any help would be amazing :)

rdm/nin with good gear and setup+ meds can solo


if not solo get a decent mnk or pld whm whm 1 rng

nin whm duos easily, bring a thf as a back up tank and for TH if you have a 3rd.

DD+healer. Stand on the tail. Gl on it having a shadow.

Though I'd strongly recommend bringing a THF as well if your DD isn't a THF, farming Yilbegan is annoying enough as is. Jobs with good spike damage are preferable to DoT jobs here due to his -DT mechanics.

I've killed him 5-6 times, popped him 10-12.

all fighting solo bst, or duo bst. this guy blows. I would tell you to prepare to be disappointed. many times. of my 5-6 kills, none were shadowed best drop I recieved was a scarlette kadife. (don't bother looking it up, crafting item worth a couple hundred K at best.) all kills were done with faithful falcorr, standing on his tail.

If I were to do it again, make a group of 3-4 people with the set-ups others have noted. solo is not worth anyone's time.
