I tried to just buy the pens alone, and they told me I needed to spend a min of 23$, even though the pens are 22.99.... buying pens + key ring + shipping + international is a nice price tag just to have fun ;_;

I said/felt the same when i saw the price of the pens... $23+ for 2 pens with fancy tops... can go to the store and get like 20 pens for $5. The price is more then likely just for the in-game items...
I have to order them from the american store? I went to europe and they werent there. Also I'll assume the mandy one is the pre-order only? (the pre-order comment thing was kinda vague and unsure) but it was sold out so idk.

Real sad part isn't the fact that they selling in-game prizes for money...the sad thing is that the ***isn't even useful. At least the Tidal Talisman had a function, which was basically destroyed with VW warps but...regardless...

Again, issue isn't with buying RL items for in-game stuff...it's usefulness. I mean TBH, who would've bought security token if they didn't bundle it with the damn Satchel? Like I said, Tidal Talisman had/has a use for quickening transportation (again outdated by VW, but still...)

These aren't listed in the EU/UK store. infact, no XI stuff is listed there. Can people paying from the EU buy stuff from the NA store?

The Street Fighter and Front Mission and Bleach toys all look so cool.
I wonder why SE never bothered to license any of the FFXI properties out for these type of pose-able ball-joint articulation toys. :/ Oh well.

lol i dont want the pens, just the keychain... but I would need to get 2 to get over that 23$ mark.. /thinks about selling 2nd ingame item for gil.

Maybe if they gave out neo-nyzul gear or something useful.
Someone pls post about the quality of the pens when you recieve them. I've spent some skrilla on a pen before, but it wrote damn well, and lasted a long time too. A good pen plus some ffxi ten year memorialness would be well worth the price they are asking. Bic with a plastic crab on top... no thanks.
