CoP Final Blueblade Fell CS Not Triggering?

I have my ring, I've checked the walnut door over and over and zoned in to Blueblade fell numerous times. Not matter what I do I can't trigger the last CS so I cam move on to Storms of Fate. Any ideas?? Thanks!!

1st, try to run through the mission walk through again, very carefully, http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Dawn. Maybe you missed a crucial step.

2nd, maybe throw away the ring and try again by following the walk through.

3rd, explain everything you have done to a GM.

Good luck. I did the whole thing a few weeks ago and haven't had an issue.

No steps were missed or I could not have gotten the CS to get the ring. GM's don't take technical support issues, tried that.

Did you get the title: Banisher of Emptiness?

No, you don't get that until the final two CS's which is why I need Blueblade to trigger and finish. Without them I stay on Mission Dawn and no new title. Tossed the ring and got a new one and still didn't work.

What color drop did you get?

I had the same problem. as it turned out for me, not that this is what happened to you, I had already done the blueblade fell cs years previous & forgotten all about it. sometime later, I started a quest called "tango with a tracker" at which point depesire(horrible mis-spelling of a NPC in safehold) wouldn't give me the dialouge to progess to storms of fate until I had completed tango with a tracker. I guess the point of this meandering post is to check your quest log for tango with a tracker. if it's there, uncompleted, beat that, & try again.

You could try a different GM, I had a problem with the hume bones quest for some ribbon and they told me to wait a week to retry it. It worked, so maybe they'd give you some sort of hint? Or wrong walnut door, I did that a few times.

you may be on the wrong one, happens a lot. I believe and this is just from memory not wiki, there's one on first floor, & one on second floor, & you wanted the one on second.

I could be wrong, wait around a bit, someone will correct me if so.

I have heard of Windower preventing/crashing certain cutscenes, but never experienced it myself. If you use Windower, maybe try with just the standard client running?

The correct walnut door will give you a CS with prishe and Ulmia talking about wyrms and Jeuno.


Also, what flavor do you think your green drop is? I was thinking it would be lemon-lime but seeing as how it came from the Chebukkis it might be something Harry Potter-ish like boogers.

Thanks. No windower. Definitely right walnut door etc. @Mosin, even though I didn't have Tango flagged, Despachiare did just give me a letter for that BCNM. Hopefully I don't have to finish that to get the Blue Fell CS. :)

Thanks for the help everyone. It seems that additional questions Tango Tracker & Requiem of Sin are 'probably' needed before I can get the final "Dawn" CS. These two quests are part of "Dawn" which is probably why it is staying flagged until I finish them. Why they're not listed in the quest order on ffxcyclopedia or BG is beyond me but we'll see if these BCNM's will finally close this storyline out.
