wow 4 more found like 10 sec after that, yall sure they dont show up on widescan

I figure I'll get mine when I'm the last person on Seraph, just before the servers close down. I've done good without it so far, no sense in dropping everything on an oddball chance in hell to get one now.

been like 3-4 hours on my server and still 9/11... even though the first like 7 were found in 30 min

I can't believe kids are bothering GM's about this ring . . . and you wonder why there is 231 people in line a head of you when you need to make a serious call.

lol yeah I'd probably start lying to people too. GM's going to jump off a bridge tonight between this ring and people locking themselves out of their SE accounts.

NO I got told they just hadnt been found yet or that someone else had found it... when they didnt even have a chance of being up. Then after hours of searching SE was like oh yeah um 8-24 hours yeah...

They released a POL message when the tablets were scattered again, it wasn't some "oh ya, btw, this..."

Got no message.. I was in West Ron looking when it was found... also La theine when it was found.

I read it almost instantly after Seraph recieved the message, maybe we're behind the power curve.

whend you get the message cause my server got it at 124PDT exactly 1 week after we gathered them last time. But when I checked POL at around 330 there still was no message

I highly doubt WS would work, because the chances of finding a mob tablet while /RNG is rediculously low, as well as not many people are RNG main anymore. Plus, even if you WERE to target a tablet if RNG or /RNG...I highly doubt you would stop to widescan and see, and risk someone coming and jacking it while you're searching.

That being said...even if it did work, don't think people would blurt it out so others can scan them, and for SE to pick up on it sooner than they have to.

Yeah, except the way of knowing if it will or won't pop that way is iffy. If you want the ring bad enough to attempt some ***like that, stopping every so often to widescan will take time from being able to target manually. So you can kick yourself if one is found in your area and didn't show on scan. xD And leave you wondering if it DID show and you missed it. Solving really nothing. <,<

Found on kujata 11/11 in about 30 mins... I will never see one ; ;

cept it isnt a mob. You have no idea when they spawn but when one has you know the others are up so no way ones popping right in front of you when your looking for i unless you look starting 8 hours after until they start popping and just happen to be in front of one when they do in that 26 hour frame... odds bad

might as well not even bother... if other ppl get it, they get it.. just better stick to the ann. band.

Here is all i know from this event.

A) It shows up on APradar or APPv4radar as "Mog-Tablet".
B) Widescan DOES work but i was only able to do a limited test in time in fear of someone else stealing my ***lol. I checked widescan only after it popped the name when i found it. I don't know if it does BEFORE the name pops.
C) You won't see the shine on the chocobo but if you use a radar it still shows up.
D) Once you see the shine just go over to it when you are within a 10' radius the name pops up.
E) You always get the Kupo ring the first time... and 1 random item or the mog statue. I got a noble's bed.
F) The shine this time was very faint. I saw it on APradar a lightyear before the shine.

I know that not everyone agrees with APradar or windower, but it's clear that there is a leaps and bounds advantage. I mainly use APradar for maps i dont have or NM spots without looking things up 500 times.

That's just my experience and i hope it helps anyone with questions.

Also a neat little blue cool effect goes off and zooms away into the sky. I assume its the tablet lol.

well if all that is true then they definitely dont all spawn at the same time... I definitely went thru all of a zone like that and nothing then like 40 min later the 9th one was found in that zone

I don't know... i was out in xarc and beaucidine for the longest time... i then alteped and zoned into west only to come across that in my path like 10 minutes later.
