Registry Tweak (Vista)

I used to remember how to tweak the windows registry to allow better distant resolution but since i've updated (more like condemned) my pc to windows vista, I can't seem to locate the correct registry.

I remember setting a value from 400 to 800, or something like that. Good detailed ideas only please, aka directions please. ^^;

Also, I know how to open regedit, but where are the registry files i can edit? I've dug through them fairly thuroughly and can't seem to find them. Either I've missed them, or they dont exist for Vista (hard to believe).

dunno if this works for vista, but you can read up here and see if that helps you any.

go to regedit and make #3 = 1 in decimal value (or double for even better) and # 4 = to #2 or double.
