Diablo 3
DAMANGE
Phoenix.Sehachan said: » Why in the world would you donate money to someone cause you think they're good at a videogame? The world seems to rotate around and support douchery, just watch like all of the reality TV out today. MF gear:
How do you handle it? Is there a palette swap macro I'm missing somewhere or do you have to switch them manually? Does swapping it at the end of a fight suffice or do they need equipped the whole time? I was fulltiming my MF gear and barely made it out of nightmare (yeah I'm behind). Now in hell and it just doesn't seem like an option anymore so I bought non-MF gear with better stats, as gear with good stats and MF is getting increasingly more expensive the higher the level and stats get, it seems. Also I'm pretty poor/trying to save money for lv60 gear. They don't need charity if they can afford an internet connection, a decent graphic card and a 60 bucks game.
what?
it's for the same the children charity... Save the children Athene's save the children campaign Athene's sponsor(???) Dc entertainment is matching dollar for dollar up to 500k for each dollar donated. They're looking to raise 1 million dollars for the save the children charity. While it's nice it's for a charity, the way he presents himself kind of doesn't reflect the charity thing.
Him being an *** is part of his character. I don't know the real Athene, I don't really care, I don't watch his stuff. But I think it's nice that he's helping do something with his fame. He's giving out prizes to people who donate.
Noticing after a few butcher runs with only DH's and Wiz's that they go a lot more smoothly with a good Barb or Monk in the group.
As such I am starting a Barb :D Hopefully I will not suck at it like a lot of the Barbs I see >.> If you ever run into a Barb named Ragnarok, he was pretty freaking amazing. That's interesting, turret fire does not reset crit chance on SS, but does benefit from it
Cerberus.Eugene said: » Conclusions I'm getting: SS vs CTK is highly gear dependent and situation dependent. Quote: So, what's the conclusion? You see higher gain from SS when: 1) you use a slow weapon, e.g. a 2hand xbow 2) you don't have to spam aoe and continuous attacks 3) you do a lot of kiting and only able to attack once every few seconds 4) you have at least 200% crit damanage bonus excluding SS 5) you love the opening burst damange Your initial crit hit chance offers diminishing returns. The lower your base crit chance is, the more you gain from SS. On the contrary, pick CTK when 1) you use a high attack speed bow or 1hand xbow 2) you spam a lot of aoe and continous dps, e.g. with tanks 3) you have low crit damange bonus 4) you don't care about opening burst damage. Source and these conclusions make sense conceptually to me yup, i'm with the first 5 steps Ragnarok.Kongming said: » MF gear: How do you handle it? Drops are calculated when the monster/chest/pot/etc "dies" (or is looted) Blizzard is working on a macro for swapping gear. Cool thing about Diablo I learned while watching other people play on streams is that when he is at the point of very low health you can switch out your gear before killing him to max your magic find.
Finished with monk, now onto bigger things :3
First to see what drops I got from diablo lol. How is this game?? Thinking about getting it. Is it worth it??

So anything I should be prepared for in nightmare difficulty?
Or is there anything different that I should start doing I guess? I guess now I'm mainly going to try and collect items to sell on the AH or whatnot so I can finish upgrading my gem guy and blacksmith. Bismarck.Bloodbathboy said: » How is this game?? Is it worth it?? thought it would be meh My god was I wrong Its like pso meets gauntlet legends slapped together in the diablo universe Needless to say, its not terribly close to the old Diablo we knew and loved; but I feel with some of the changes that have been made there is more fun to be had in D3 than D2. It is most fun played with others I've yet to try just a random group on D3, I've really only played with my RL friend and Quetzacoatl (sp?) Going to try to maybe do a bit more with other people now that I've finished normal.

I would use my money first on gear, then once you are comfortable (at 60) use your money to upgrade the jewel guy and blacksmith. Crafting is pretty much poo poo and a huge waste of money. Gems will fall in better quality in the new areas. Phoenix.Lillicarnage said: » Leviathan.Catnipthief said: » So anything I should be prepared for in nightmare difficulty? Ah cool, I'll start saving up gold to get gear then, I've already put a few bids on some gear but I dunno if I'll be able to get them, was running low on gold and just put a minimum amount on each. MIGHT get lucky but who knows. Phoenix.Lillicarnage said: » Anyone know if you can use the nightmarish staff for the pony level on normal or do you have to make a new one?
