im just wondering where all you bleeding hearts were when all this started years ago.
hmm, let's see...26 years ago I was working, married and raising a son and pregnant with another. There was no internet like today. There was no 'movement' to bring a war criminal to justice, no history of his violence to come. I was most probably living the American dream with my head up my arse...
but what has that got to do with NOW?
Right now all across various regions of Africa conflict is raging. Do you suggest we interfere in all of them? What about the poor children in Somalia starving to death daily? Should we kill all the warlords who stand between international food aid and those poor children?
Emotion is well and good but you're coming up short on an action plan here. What do you suggest we do? Kill Kony and make sure nothing happens on the ground? Afghanistan II: Electric Boogaloo?
Again. The IC is BRINGING AWARENESS OF THE #1 WAR CRIMINAL OF THE ICC THAT HAS DROPPED OFF THE RADAR, SO THAT HE CAN BE FOUND AND TRIED (NOT FOUND AND MURDERED) IN THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT (ICC). The IC also is helping victims in all the regions that have been brutalized by that man and others. I doubt they ask a victim "Kony do this?" and if the answer is no then they don't help them.
I really don't think the majority of the posters here watched the Kony 2012 video...they are just jumping on a bandwagon to argue.
*puts away the troll food*
-I- support the movement and will be making a donation. I do also make donations to Feed the Children, AIDS, Cancer Research and Wounded Warriors to name a few.
*PEACE*
