Lockstyles replicating OG styles people typically rocked in very oldschool eras. Looking for folks thoughts on what they'd consider the defacto "what everyone was wearing" gear sets before lockstyle existed, prolly around pre and during ToAU era. For example I have this lockstyle atm, that isnt perfect but I hope it gives the general idea of the sorta stuff I am going for, haha ![]() Bonus points if the item has a modern easier to acquire equivalent for lockstyle purposes. Or if the original item is just easy to get anyways. Demon Helm

most common era lockstyle I see recreated is the homam drk with walhara turban and ebody farmed a wyvern skull for a friend to craft cos i wanted to rock a wyvern helm on my pld

Does +45% mean it Nether Void gives +95% (+50% +45%) or 72.5% (+50%*1.45)? I expect the former but I don't think there is complete consistency with how these +% work right? Is it known if they need to remain equipped after JA use or only for JA use? think its on JA use but would be pretty easy to test; think it got skipped over cause its also your best general dark magic piece

And it'd need to be a fair bit to beat the +45% bonus. onyx is also going to be a wash as its jsut +10 seconds and duration is based on dark magic skill so you're already getting a duration boost from +30 skill. Might not be +10 seconds but itll also not be -40% as potent and lacking 93 + INT value of macc

Even if we remove the need for it to be equipped its still comparing +3~ seconds to 90+ macc with lack of int/skill in alternative options like onyx legs. Also drain/aspir potency increase through raw skill.
Only really using DRK for Limbus ilvl 130, macc shouldn't be an issue. It's the first content I have preferred DRK to WAR on.
Was thinking duration was a non-issue anyway since 5/5 dark seal with relic head should get you at or pretty near the recast to just pop it again, unless thats being saved for drain and you're seperating them out for whatever reason

Kinda like physical accuracy can never go below 20% rate, does the land rate of spells cast by monsters on players also have a minimum threshold under which it's impossible to go no matter level difference, meva or elemental resistance? No, because you can just straight up completely resist a spell if it doesn't do damage. Damaging spells will always land but have different resist tier based on your meva and if you have or don't have elemental resistance for that element. Having elemental resist for that spell unlocks the 1/8 resist iirc. I even had barlseep (coincidence btw, I didn't put it up on purpose) and I'm "just" ML 25 on BLU, but still considering this is level 75 content I was quite surprised. Now having it land once in a new moon is not a big deal, but three times in a very short time, I dunno, I was very surprised honestly. Anybody else has another explanation for that? Or is it just a very rare occurrance of extremely low chances? Enfeebles i think they have a flat 5% chance minus any resist traits that might kick in, which is then rolled for full or partial Nukes just follow a dmg resistance tier instead with 1/8th i think being the lowest possible since nukes cant miss

Anyone remember these? ![]() MAGA doesn't recognise "Enhancing Magic Duration" or "Enhancing Magic effect duration" (as it says on Colada). Anyone know how to make it work?
Look in the maps or data file, its some extra file within the addon folder. You can find the naming convention in there. Im not near my pc so I can confirm the name of the file.
Its something outlandish like “Enh. Eff. Dur.” Oh yeah, that rings a bell. I will try tomorrow.
Do you think there was there own set of weapons planned for wings of the goddess and more for adoulin then epo and Idris?
Or was that just abbysea since it was around the same time? Maybe we just got them at a later date as something else |
