Why is there no /facepalm emote?
It would be the most useful thing in this game.

It's the same trait as the normal AF, so it's probably unchanged across all iterations. I'm guessing so since it doesn't say main hand: xx but neither wiki or FFXIAH comments clarify. Does this make it hands down the best offhand for SB on COR?
It works in the offhand, it's just an ordinary stat like str or attack.

It's just like a regular drop iirc with the green colored font.
What's the ideal person to monster HP ratio for Reisen HELMs?
Asura.Vyre said: » What's the ideal person to monster HP ratio for Reisen HELMs? 6. Beyond that, so long as most people are contributing in a meaningful way, you can keep going. If you get between 12-18, you'd better hope your A team is good. Bahamut.Bojack said: » If the Guimauve Meat drops in Peach Power do you have a chat log message for it or does it just appear in your inventory? You get an "Obtained: Guimauve meat" message immediately after killing a flan. I'd argue there's not really an ideal, as long as everyone is doing something you're going to be fine. It's more about the average quality of player on the team.
For reference, I can easily clear all of them multiboxing 10 active characters with 8 leeches. I suspect all could be done with less, some significantly so. If someone wants to come, and they're able to offer a job that fits your strategy in any way, it's probably worth letting them. If they're going to be a straight leech, definitely have to weigh it against how overgeared you are for the content. Edit: https://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/29127/random-question-thread-ffxi-related/882#3737187 Assuming this chart from jpwiki is accurate, the ideal would be a full 18 if measuring HP/member. Roughly 28% less HP per member needed vs a 6man. But, in practice it usually works out that the members you're only considering are worse than the ones you're definitely bringing so it's never that simple/linear. Anyone get Midrium Ingots from a BC? I need them for my crafting shield. (Need 120 or 480 ores) One person has been selling stacks this month which leads me to believe he's getting them from a BC. His other sale history has also been BC type drops for the most part.
I get about 1 ore per 15 minutes of mining and have yet to see one from a Reive. https://www.ffxiah.com/item/3919/midrium-ingot/?stack=1 just reroll it until you get arasy swords, you can buy it all off AH and be done in an hour for sub-5m
if you're not on asura and have to scrounge for bismuth, it's still a whole lot less (44+ ores) hassle than midrium He already bought 8+ stacks of the 9.5 to finish of the midrium
Should've bought the 5 stacks of bismuth though Well damn lol. I went with the recipe with the fewest ingredients.
Any other smithing shield tips? i did darksteel cuirasses, ingots, and nadziaks iirc
but really just take a second to look at the options, a reroll is usually less painful than something with mats nobody farms any more Definitely, always pre-plan. Just universal advice. Don't wait until you need it to have it. You should've been stocking bismuth(midrium) weeks/a month ago to have it on lock.

Pet project, running out of goals. But 100% agree. Midrium Ore is available from chocobo digging in Morimar, or with bore in Marjami, Kamihr, Morimar. Based on the "R" rarity on bgwiki, if you have bore, blue silk, and 200/day endurance chocobo you could probably expect 3~4 stacks of ore per day in Morimar.
Another probably obvious question: Qultada rolls are +0 potency right?
K123 said: » Another probably obvious question: Qultada rolls are +0 potency right? Went out and tested it rq. 2009 base atk for me. Qultada rolled and doubled up to Chaos XI. Atk after 2533, an increase of +524 atk. 26.08% Which is 5.17% less than the listed value on BG-wiki. Which I guess means BG Wiki values for Phantom Roll are not accurate. But to your question, yes, it means that Qultada's rolls are base potency but 5/5 Winning Streak for max pre-JP durations. Why doesn't trading any given orb to the burning circle just consume it?
Gameplay wise it's just a banana peel I gotta throw out. I don't have to discard empty potion bottles or pull the icarus wing feathers out of my teeth after I eat it, but these orbs just sit in your inventory broken. Were they planning to do something with 'restocking' orbs with monsters that never came about? Asura.Vyre said: » K123 said: » Another probably obvious question: Qultada rolls are +0 potency right? Is there a way to tell who in your party is locked out of Peach Power? I've run into it a couple times that I shout for a party but can't take us in because someone is locked out (not me) and people are unsure if it's them.

That may shift values around as instead of going from 0 to 15~30% you're going from 15% to 30~45% Bahamut.Bojack said: » Is there a way to tell who in your party is locked out of Peach Power?
