Pol Errror 0260 And 0006

I keep getting pol error 0260 and 0006 whenever i try to log in. I was in the middle of updating my computer with the update when it decided to to stop kicked me off and now this pops up when i go to try and log in.

you're not the only one...i wasn't trying to update but i keep getting 0011 and 0260...

servers can't be down cause i see ppl shouting in PJ D: so whats that problem /rage?

i tried reseting the router and pc twice...after like 5mins of "veryfiblala" i get to the pol screen and it takes aaaages to load stuff...then either 0011 or 0260...

yeah i tried reinstalling playonline but didnt help. Now i'm getting a 0008 error code

same here with both on pc and xbox and the account+support site too dosnt load or takes 20 mins to error out :/

I got kicked off game and am unable to log back in due to 0011 error too >.<

close to 4 hours of trying calling it quits for today its quite anoying

Same here, been trying for last 1-1h 30, had around 6-7 different pol codes pop up, occasionally gets on, but then the friend list spazzes out and another error code pops up.

Just to make you feel better also the last time I had a problem like this it only took around a week to resolve.

Same here.. cut me off randomly a few hours ago, hasn't reconnected since. Sometimes gets as far as retrieving friend list data but still cuts out in the end. also 0011 error code. /sigh

same here logged onto a mule to send money over to main half way through logging out and got booted off, that was at 12pm (uk time) and its now 5pm been trying to log on since but keep getting 1 of 4 different errors...stupid game

Same here I think it was almost 1pm my time that I got kicked off, just after getting 5 dyna TE's :(

I just tried to log in, as has my brother, and we are both having the same issue. First I got error 0011, then 0259 I think. Our router wasn't working at first, but we reconnected it. I haven't been able to log into the viewer at all yet, but I've only tried twice so it's just a matter of seeing if I can get in after a bit.

Edit: Just tried again. Managed to get into the viewer this time, if only very briefly. It took a while to load and then eventually just turned back to Error Code:POL-0011. /sigh.

Finally got my Egg for Black Belt last night and now I can't log in to do quest and get belt.... xbox or PC bot can't connect POL 0260
So frustrating

Having the same issue here too, after a random d/c I've tried multiple times to log back in. All of which results in various errors and not connecting at all, or it taking anywhere between 5-10mins to connect, then getting to retrieve friend list where Pol just hangs and then eventually gets an error message, which then exits Pol. I'm having this issue on both PC and laptop and error is normally 0011 or 0260.

Not the first time for sure that I've seen this happen after an update, I've had the occ r0's since update and such, and then this today. Would say it could just be coincidence but as I've seen updates since 2004/05 there always seems to be issues afterward. How and why certain people get these issues I don't know, im no pc wizard by any means. But just seeing updates come and go over previous 5+ years, it always seems to have some affect for an unlucky bunch of players, its not area based so its not a UK/EU problem. My guess is s.e will deny any knowledge of this, anyone who contacts will be told its your ISP and in the next week the problem will just vanish like it was never there. So i'll just take it as winning the lotto, sadly for us this lotto's jackpot is no ffxi for the next few days most likely.
