Trying to reactivate my account, I was unable to log into to Play Online, I requested a password change, and when doing that, it reads "The entered password is invalid.
Passwords composed of only alphabetic characters, only numbers, or only symbols cannot be used. Passwords including the same three characters in a row cannot be used." in the box for the one time password. If anyone could help, that would be fantastic.

It's not my play online password or name, when trying to log in it says something about Square Enix account name or password/one time password.

I just tried that, and my SE account is the problem. I got the email to change my password, when I entered the new password and one time password it still wouldn't work.

Only way to fix the problem now is to have a boring long chat with one of their representatives. There is no other way, sorry to say. Go through their step by step and answer all their million questions to which half of them you probably don't have the answer too anymore. Good luck and I hope you have your most important information handy.

about a year ago i had my token stop working, it was generating numbers but they were not working, you may be in the same situation, call customer service and have them remove the token off your account manually.

There is more than one password.

The password you enter everytime you log in is only one. There is a whole different password associated with your account.

POL browser, under "settings", the POL password. Its different than the one you use everytime you log in. Has to be, they won't let you use the same one.

I think it can be the same as your Square Enix account password, but that isn't important.

Customer Service will change it for you.

If you haven't played for ages you may not have a square enix account.
If you havent go to https://secure.square-enix.com/account/app/svc/Login?cont=account
and make one.

Then you have to set up your log in to POL
This means inputting in your POL ID and Password at the top of the box
Further down the bottom you have to put your Square Enix ID and password (This will be diff from your POL ID and password.
Also you have to save this in the selection to save bit.

Then when you log in you POL ID will be on display but it's your SE password you will be inputting followed by your token code.

I have a SE account, I am 95, haha. I think I am going to call them tomorrow. Thanks for the help guys, I hope it works.
