There was a made for TV movie she was in where she gets date-raped that I had to watch. Right after she's sitting in the car she does this extraordinarily fake scream and I burst out laughing :x

Speak (the movie you are referring to) was actually a pretty decent book. I've never seen the movie as I tended to ditch class any time it was a "movie day". Doesn't sound like I missed much.

It seems to be a sort of a trend right now to have celebrities out of beautiful women without celebrity-like skills.

Kirsten Stewart-- beautiful girl, horrible actress, loved by thousands.

Megan Fox-- beautiful girl, horrible actress, loved by thousands.

Kim Kardashian-- beautiful girl, horrible... why is she famous again? Loved by thousands.

I'm guessing that this goes on all the time and I'm just now starting to notice because I'm just now paying attention. But I'm sure it will pass. As soon as the next beautiful girl comes along, the current beauties will be forgotten unless they have some sort of actual skill to keep them in the spotlight. No one remembers Paris Hilton or Heidi Pratt anymore. No one talks about them anymore. They were beautiful girls without any celebrity-sort skills and so when someone else came along, everyone forgot about them.

No worries! In time, Kirsten Stewart and her heavy breathing and her wooden acting, too, will move to the back burner and out of the spotlight.

I'm worried about the new movies that Kristen Stewart is going to be in... I watched a preview for Snow White and the Huntsman and it looked great, then I saw she was Snow White, I cringed... then again when I saw that blank look almost drooling face she does...

Not to sound as if I'm defending the Twilight movie series, but of all the silly bandwagons, this has to be one of the silliest. It's as if everyone suddenly forgot directors exist. If Kristen Stewart wasn't playing the part exactly how Catherine Hardwicke, Chris Weitz, David Slade, and most importantly Stephanie Meyer wanted her to, they'd have redone it until she did. Is she a terrible actress? Quite possibly, but it's not something one easily determines based on how she plays the quivering, fluttery mess that Meyer created.

I like Kiera Knightly quite a bit, Zah. I won't watch all the movies she's been in because they don't all interest me, but what I have seen of her, I've always enjoyed.

I do agree that Kirsten Stewart plays the part she's given, Minjo. She is the perfect Bella. I did read all the books and, well, if Bella Swan went to my high school I wouldn't have been friends with her because she IS boring and wooden and mindless. But looking at the other films Stewart has been in (like Adventureland there in the OP video and Speak), she's quite bad in more than just Twilight, I'm afraid.
