And job updates are a joke for the most part. As you probably know already, they all are alike. The "job" adjustments are all the same type of adjustments across the board for these jobs. I personally feel that they are just trying to gain attention by using the job adjustments title with them. They should of grouped them together and just made it one dev update. personally I kinda like it this way, that way I don't have to read about all the updates just the ones that I'm interested in. I'm sure others feel the same, I guess that's a narrow mind set for it but as a lot of persons have been playing solo/low man understanding of all the jobs has become non-inmportant (however tanaka is in the process of reversing this...) I havn't played in a month or so and deciding if i am going to play again still waiting on something fresh from the dev team for FF until then other games can get my attention.
Well they are just recycling content Jet.
I wish we could see new designs and content every update as well, but we all know where the game is at in it's lifespan (running on fumes). With that said I still am looking forward to the Makado said: » I havn't played in a month or so and deciding if i am going to play again still waiting on something fresh from the dev team for FF until then other games can get my attention. It isn't going to be a whole expansion, they said it would be between an expansion and what abyssea was. And sorry, Jet*! Offline

Indeed i say it every time ffxi best mmo ever but it's become a broken record at this point. Hopefully it does get that oh wow feel again that will add a few more yrs to it. But to stay playing for making my weapons 99 only, naw not gonna pay for that.
Well, like I said Makado, they are going to be making something that is between an Expansion and what Abyssea was... what ever that is lol.
Hopefully not anything like those 3 add-ons... would like a half expansion or something. So could someone run an underground casino? Post thread on here for instance - and hell even do /random in someone's moghouse? Might not get as many customers but could work for the gambling crowd.
I also don't think this passed the smell test. Profit LS on Raganarok has tons of gil flowing back and forth. When I was working on Aegis I blew 70 mil in a short time. Good luck OP, if you truely were innocent and got banned just for having too much gil, then I'm sure many more of us will get the ban stick soon. I for one welcome seeing the sun. Offline

The game has built in gambling tables, but the stakes are far to low and its not a straighforward game. If SE were to introduce high stakes gambling, say 1M bets, and make it a simple game like high card or Chinchirorin. Gambling amongst 2-4 players where you know your odds are all even makes it not unlike poker. Perhaps its time a gaming parlor were introduced with tables of varying bets from the current 1k to 1M. A room with a bunch of NPC's to handle my gil with random variables...

Would be nice if the aug's on the 3 add-ons got a buff for 99 level but that's not gonna happen, so wasted money on pretty much useless pieces of armor. Thinking about it why did i buy 2/3 add-ons wth was i thinking.

Other than that... yea The armor was cool when it was released, but I should of known it wouldn't last very long. yeah the entire augment system is so out of place with the game and evoliths are a joke...

Here's what i think happened. Casinos obviously have a large amount of people playing, so there are lots of trades going back and forth. Some bets are in the millions too. So I expect that they have some program or something that sees a lvl 1 character trading millions of gil to sever people. That is the only thing I can think of. And if you just looked at it like that then yes it does sound like RMT. However, no real investigation went into it to see where all the money was coming from. That wouldn't be very freaking hard to determine. Carbuncle.Kunisama said: » SE use a bot, called the banbot V1.3.3.7 or something ridiculous. I no longer play: but when I did I was once banned for gardening, and I was using wild-grass seeds and simply selling the good to NPC for small profits on each character: I did this on 15 characters on my account. They banned me but then a week later after phone calls E-mails Bi***ing them out. They lifted the ban. So maybe call and complain to them every day. But also, I do agree that the casino thing does not wash >.< Offline

To actually get on here and post about it seems like something an rmt wouldn't do. So maybe his casino ban isn't washy. Growing seeds and selling the harvested mats seems washy to me for ban tho >.>
The thing to do is, if you win at a casino, make the guy buy an item out of your bazaar. If I can server transer 40mil to someone and not get banned, i'm sure it will work for winning money in a casino. Also if thats what happened OP, just call. They could easilly investigate it. There will be tons of evidence in your logs.

Some of those Armors have tiny uses... Head makes one of the better Per job heads. Body is good for a few pet jobs too Legs good for SMN elemental Siphon piece. Thats about all i can think of >_> Offline

I completely see how it sounds washy. I thought the same about all casinos until I did my first casino. But think about it. How do you generally spot a RMT? S**t to no gear, doesn't talk at all usually, you find them in the same spot or doing the same thing 24/7, and also do nothing that could loose them money! Me and my 2 friends that both got banned to plan to call twice a day till we get it fixed. Or until they /blist our numbers ^.^....They never played but I gave them loads of gil and they helped me transfer gil from my mule to my main. So maybe that's it.
